Have you been to blackberry world and searched for bbm to see if the update was available?

Mine did this once even after the update, I just closed then reopened and it was normal

Okay then, if AFTER the new os was loaded you haven't I would then try a security wipe Settings>Security and Privacy> Security Wipe

Some people say this helps the new os settle in anyway and makes restore smoother..

To everyone using this leak are you having any issues with PIM Services draining your batteries? With the 1055 it is gives me a few days with 20+ hours battery life and than all of a sudden back to 8 hours due to PIM running. The PIM goes on for days at a time and kills the complete performance and experience with the Z30. Please advise.

the blackberry device manager recognise the device but the blackberry link doesn't.
tried this as well - KB26745-BlackBerry Desktop Software or BlackBerry Link displays the message "Update Could Not Be Completed" or "cannot communicate with the connected device" when connecting to the BlackBerry 10 smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook tablet via USB

I know you guys are tired of me asking for Google doc. But the one I downloaded from was corrupted.

Other people have used that download with no problems. Delete the original download, then download the file again. This time rename the file during download and if possible save it to a different drive.

    BlackBerryOS.com - Leaked OS: BlackBerry 10.2.1.1259 Surfaces For STL-1

To the handful of STL-1 users out there, 10.2.1.1259 has finally surfaced for you, courtesy of BerryOutsider.

It has been a while since 10.2.1.1055 made us all late to work, so if you have already experienced that build, there are not many more new goodies to see in this build so far. As far as we can tell there is only an added disclaimer that appears the first time you install an Android APK asking you to make double sure you know what you are doing before you proceed. The remember app also got a minor update that now lets you switch from notes view or folders view, which is nice for some people, but other than that, it seems like there are a lot of fine tuning in the core OS.

So without further ado, download BlackBerry OS 10.2.1.1259 for STL-1 here.

    Z10 (STL-1) 10.2.1.1259

Download links for all other devices can be found here.

Warning: Please remember that this IS NOT an official operating system release. If you wish to install this OS keep in mind that this may cause your phone to not function properly. Also remember, upon loading this OS, it will wipe your device clean. Make sure you back up your device before loading it. Otherwise, you will lose all your data.

Works for me on my Q10. Perhaps a reinstall of the app is in order.

That was the first thing I tried, along with reboots; hard and soft. No luck. Sucks because I really like the app.

I'd be willing to grnat this issue "bug" status! Becauase when I. Go into the email account where the filed message was, it shows up there - just not in the hub.

Other than users of bb10 who actually know how to use this, I've tried it on a number of friends and they just give up, it takes me like half an hour to explain to each of them how it really works. All of them give me the same reaction when unlocking my phone: D: & WTF

Hi, first of all thank you for the help.
I ment I the 'restore device' and then it installed the 10.2.0.249 i think. I can't restore the device content bc the link won't recognise the device.

yes, my computer does recognise that i'm connecting the device.
And there is your problem. You did it wrong. You restored your device back to the factory original OS. You were supposed to restore from backup. You got "click happy" and didn't read what you were clicking.

Go into Device Manager on your PC and look for your BlackBerry then delete it.
Reboot your PC just to be sure.
Wait for your PC to come back up.
    Login to your PC.
Start Link if it isn't already started.
    Go into Link preferences.
Uncheck the box next "Start Link when device plugged in." close Link; DON'T JUST CLICK THE X, click your system tray then right click the Link icon and select Close.
    Turn on your phone.
Plug your phone into your PC. Your PC should detect it, if not try a different USB port until it does. (If Link pops up, you didn't follow directions; turn it off again.)
    Reload the leak.
