I'm new to leaks but would like to install the new 10.2 one on my Q10...

I see I have SQN 100-2. What are the steps I need to do to download this? I'm kind of confused with all the radio talk and what files I actually need to download.

It's my first time so I apologize.

    It's simple really.

    Download this: https://mega.co.nz/#!jRoVVRLC!G_MM60...CH28V8G-syqVBY

Extract the exe from that, plug your Q10 to the PC via USB, close BB Link and run the autoloader.exe. Wait till the device reboots and there you have it.

    Start here... http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...evices-835026/

    Instructions:
    Backup device with BB Link
    Close BB Link
Download the OS and extract it
    Run the File
    Connect Device and WAIT
Once loaded and reboots, restore device via BB Link

Note: I normally set my device on airplane mode whilst updating it...prevent any disturbances!

Quick question here, couldn't find the answer when searching.
How do I downgrade back to an official OS once on a leaked version?

Sorry to hijack the thread but does a 10.1 MR backup restore fully on 10.2.0.1047?

Find an autoloader lower than the official then update... Or pull off of sachei

As far as I know...no (think you would need to soft brick the device using an autoloader, then use link to restore)

Best bet is to downgrade using autoloader. Device would detect update as usual after you complete setup etc

Again this pains me to answer this because we've beat the hell out of the topic, and the answer is "I don't know" for me it does, for many it does, for some it does not. It seems like many people who have issues it is user error, but for some there seem to be legitimate issues, so until you do it with your particular circumstances I don't want to promise you it will, but I'm not going to tell you it won't...

Alright, what are the side effects if any of the "Reload OS" tool not working?
    Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by side effects: it works or it doesn't...

So it doesn't do anything like get half way and then not work and brick your device, or just plainly doesn't work and doesn't allow you to use it in the first place?

I don't know if Sacha's bootrom wizardry allows installing .signed files on Mac yet. If it does, you can install this with Sachesi. If not, PC only.

    Not for the autoloader, no.

You'd have to go to the thread listed on the 2nd reply, grab the debrick image and app packages and use the MAC version of Sachesi to load it all up.

Far easier getting a Windows PC, if you ask me.

Okay, I know what reply you speak of. What's a debrick imabe and app package? And does Sachesi come installed on Macs?

No, you'll have to download Sachesi.

I'll be real nice and link everything for you, but get in the habit of going for the original threads.
