Looked all over the forums, if I posted in the wrong place, I apologize.

Just wanted to ask, if I've got an STL100-3 with 10.2.1.2156 on T-Mobile, is there a better leak?

Do I need to sideload both an OS and radio? I'm pretty new to this...

    Thanks!

September, you can load any of the OS for your device. The 2947 is excellent and lots of us are using it. You can use an autoloader. The instructions are in my signature. Or you can do a non destructive with Sachesi. There is also a guide for that.

10.2.1.2947 is the best of the recent versions for me, on both my Z10 and Z30. Here's the link: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...00-1-a-918891/

Edit: Remember to back-up first! Especially if you go with the autoloader.

Here's a nice guide by some clever person

Is there a different radio I need? Do I need it if I've got no issues? I'm sorry I'm kind of being a noob. What does a non-destructive mean?

There is no radio for the z10 for .2947, you have to load a different radio (2947 is a release for the Z3). I have a Z10-3 as well and I installed OS .2947 with radio .2273 and my battery life on standby has been great.

A non destructive install does not wipe your device, the new version of OS, radio and apps are installed over the older versions currently on your phone, but you need to run Sachesi in order to install the .bar files .

Correct. STL-1 is different. It's all laid out in the guide. Which is in my missing signature. *insert slap to forehead here* haha

It used to lose about 15-20% an hour with use. About 10% during standby. I'm only losing about 10% or less during use and standby is incredible. Only 3% in 4 hours!

Edit: I suck at numbers but from 1:30pm to now (10pm), I'm at only 50%. Usually my battery would have died hours ago.

No sir. I'm conking out early. Had one margarita but just made myself sleepy.

I may leave my Z10 off the charger all night and see how long standby really lasts.

Usually it will be a bit high for 1-2 days due to data synch. After that we use to have around 1% on standby while varied for in use depends on usage and network quality.

September, Nondestructive means you can load all the updated files on top of what you have now without wiping out game progress or having to set up your phone from scratch just like an OTA (OVER THE AIR) update from your carrier. Kinda cool. Download Sachesi program to your pc or mac and update that way instead of using an autoloader...

You know, I bet it's different with BlackBerry but OTA's always give me problems. I just went ahead with the autoloader option and restored from back up. Perhaps next time I'll try this method. Thank you for explaining more in detail. I really wasn't 100% sure.
