    Hi.

Downloaded these bars but they won't install by sachesi or chrome, keeps giving the error -the file is not a zip file.
Should I just Zip and install them?

He's looking for the full autoloader for .2234, not files to add to .2228...I'm not familiar with Sachesi either & prefer the autoloader, especially since I hadn't had the chance to load .2228
i know...and 1 page back i answered this question: don't click the links, just copy/paste them inside your browser and download will start...

no, don't zip them!!! They are already zipped - the .bars are just zips with a unique key from BlackBerry...don't know how to explain it more easy

    Sorry for the bother...

Is the link for the Z10(STL100-2/3/4) just radio file or the full autoloader? I hadn't loaded .2228 yet.

Thanks again for the leak, appreciated?

It appears that this leak is no longer available and has been pulled off the download site. I did manage to download it earlier but it bricked my STL100-1 at about 70% of the installation. I tried to reinstall it a couple of times but with similar results. I tried to reload the previous OS using BlackBerry Link but that also failed to restore the phone. Eventually, I had to restore the previous OS by unplugging the USB cable, doing a battery pull, then re-running the 2228 autoloader and reconnecting the phone again. Well, I guess that some leaks may be faulty and there is always the risk of bricking (but not breaking) one's phone in the process.

Faizan Syed... I could kiss you right now!

Downloaded all 5 files, dropped them into a folder named 10.2.1.2234 and put Sachesi to work. Ten minutes to update and the OS seems even smoother despite the build number not being that much higher.

Can anyone confirm if vvm is working with this build? I have read one post that its not working but can anyone confirm anything on a Canadian carrier?

I am currently on 10.2.1.2141 and its working great but since i am currently actively looking for a job i would hate to miss this feature right now.
My VVM has worked since 10.1 , and continues to work on 10.2.1.2141 .. im on Rogers in Winnipeg. Maybe call your carrier?

So I loaded radio and OS fine on Z10STL100-2 but when I try to load the settings bar either by sachesi or chrome it gives me a failure stating -
Failure 533 file is not a zip file.
I don't see any difference between these bar files and others I have sideloaded in the past. Grabbed them from thurasks bitcasa.

    All help appreciated.

The same way you get 2234 using sachesi, same country carrier codes just change to STL100-3 and hit grab links. Copy the radio one into your browser and download the file.

I did make sure that I downloaded the correct version but it just didn't install completely. I have had similar problems in the past but it was resolved by either reinstalling the previous OS or waiting for a later version. I'm not too concerned by this though because a leak is what it is and the risk is there in the warning. I'll try it again later this weekend or wait for the next one.

What is the difference between upgrade and debrick?
I always used upgrade, I guess that skips existing files and just overwrites the new files, and I assume debrick just overwrites everything, is that correct? Does debrick also perform non-destructive update?

I read a little, I found out that debrick is not a destructive upgrade either, but I still can't get a straight answer as to which method is better.
    Thanks.
