Do a OS shrink, on CrackBerry there is a thread how to remove unwanted language files, and retail demo, switch devices etc etc. When I do this I get 2,5gb more device storage

What did you do to get that amount of system usage?

Do you shrink before it is installed or afterwards? Haven't been able to find a good guide yet to walk me through the "shrink" process.

    Thanks!

You need to fall back to 10.2.1.1055. Deperm/deinstall what you will and selectively remove BARs before non-destructively upgrading to your desired OS. FYI, I have removed over 1GB of app BARs from the default installation footprint of 10.3.1.938.

Well that doesn't sound like much fun.

My device tends to run out of memory pretty quick too :P
But I solve it by running leaks, I just flash the latest leak autoloader every couple of months, and the memory is cleared.

It's not. But I get what I want which is the outright removal of the Android runtime, Remember, Help, Story Maker, Picture Password and more. 70 total app bars at under 335 MB for 938 (YMMV) means a non-destructive upgrade install time of under 25 minutes with Sachesi.

Here you can find the thread about shrinking the os after loading it on device. You also can remove the bar files before making your own autoloader. http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...s-os10-828351/

Without anything (contained in an OS package) deleted, my usage statistics are much lower than yours.

I agree. I saw some posts in some other threads with system sizes running closer to 2.5 to 3.5gb. Not sure why mine is twice as large.

A clean (destructive) install might help you shrink system sizes, I suppose.

Mine uses 5.6Go without shrinking. With 7.6Go free, I consider this acceptable. Now i'm impressed with what shrinking can do !
