Wasn't this the original thread? They should come here not the other way around.

I really don't see why a new thread was needed.. some people just love starting threads

I would also like to see if it is possible to implement an empty Home screen like on BBOS, so you can have a nice clean wallpaper screen when you first unlock the phone. I personally wouldn't mind an extra swipe to get to the icon screens.

Yes, they have implemented this. It will be there.

Personally I find it annoying and will turn it off, but for some people they would like to have it there.

Remember in the 10.3.0.140 leak, the UI was light. I'm guessing it's gone now based on Clewley 's pics?

The light ui is still present in the hub...also this isn't the final version...it's still under development

Exactly. Everyone should realize that everything Michael Clewley is showing us are features of the SDK, and doesn't necessarily means that those are what we'll get in the final build. So when they eventually don't come out in the final build, don't complain, or claim to have been promised those features.

Pretty sure that those features, being presented in official sneak peaks, will be ALL entirely integrated in the final software (not just the SDK). Those are at least what we will be getting in the official final build (possibly with improvements).
What is exciting is seeing how many functionalities are shown already. Now, being BlackBerry, I would not reveal in advance the best features but instead I would keep the best shots for the OS presentation, once it is released (see also the no-leak policy of Chen).. From how I read it.. I think 10.3 will have some REALLY innovative function!

    Always aiming high

But seriously IF this is a "New" BlackBerry and IF Mr. Mark Wilson (BlackBerry CMO) is doing his job properly... the marketing campaign that Mr Clewley is bringing to us should move exactly in that direction...
Small anticipations now in conjunction with the SDK release and.. Big features later on with the complete OS release.

Given that everything shown off so far has been suggested, it's fair to expect landscape more right?

Too bad they've given up on con/prosumer features... Encryption layers everywhere would have been nice, but they rely on all work data going through BES and consumer data to be worthless.

Nope they have no plans for it in the mid-future. Maybe in 10.5 or 10.6

Til then, I will keep stalking Michael Clewley's and BlackBerry's BBM Channel with my "Now bring us..." Hints.

It's been over a Year now and I am still waiting for it. And for native PGP/GPG Support. Don't wanna lay my Certs in the Hands of a unknown Developer. Had a bad experience once.

    Let's keep up the pressure.

So we're not gonna get call blocking for another 2 years? Does BlackBerry want to fail? How do you know this?
