Maybe it's really unsupported? Do you know the format of the file?

Extract apps from OS version you are using and reload it. Happens to me this fixed it

I had the same issue with all my music all of a sudden showing "unsupported format" error. I did a hard reset, the phone did a new search for music, and all is well now.

It's one of many new bugs that force you to reboot the whole phone, (which means by the time the phone actually reboots, your whole vibe will be long gone.) I've had this particular problem about every 2 days, and it occurs with songs you literally just listened too... also, don't just assume everyone who feels the need to start a thread is a complete fool.

Not sure If you are referring to me about making that assumption. I was just commenting that I had the same issue.

I've been on 10.3.2.2239 for several weeks and this was the first time it's happened.

Got this error too. Even after a reboot, no dice. Maybe it's a major OS glitch. Has ANYONE reported this to BlackBerry by any chance via their twitter account to @BlackBerryHelp or via their carrier?

Create a device log immediately after it happening and submit to BlackBerry, if no BlackBerry support contract, maybe you can get someone else to submit for you. I had it happen once during beta and reboot fixed before I grabbed log, then never again so wasn't able to help track.

Okay, I Talked with my carrier, but I haven't gotten a support ticket opened with BlackBerry yet, so i'll have to patiently wait for them to call me back. MMS for me is not sending at all. So handling both issues would be a good thing.

I had this issue a few days ago with mp3's that have been on my phone for about the last year. I was a little miffed at first but remembered Tech Support 101: reboot and try again. Haven't had the issue since but I expect it to come back around eventually. I'm on 10.3.2.2339 with VZW Z30.

Edit: transposed numbers in OS version.

It's been a month since this happened to me and no further issues (fingers crossed)

Just ran across this again, though now on 10.3.2.2789. Restart fixed it for now. Just wanted to chime in that it has continued and my actual device was replaced since I posted last. Still STA100-3 VZW Z30.
