Whenever it comes, it is going to have 3 things for sure. A Dark, Double battery backup and Buttery smooth OS
PS: and native apps of top 10 droid apps too (before anyone cries foul with above three)

I hope to see the drop down menu includes the data enabled / disabled and location on / off same as the current bedtime mode

Also the editor of the contact is horrible to reach

Please for god sake let us have our contacts import, without the silly stupid native apps which just piece of crap and it just cost us.

    ????????: OS 10.3.3 ??? ???? ??????? BlackBerry 10, ??????? Venice ?? Android OS
Translated :" Today, according to a reliable source of the BlackBerry, we have received information about future operating system, which will be equipped with new smartphones BlackBerry.

The slider under the working title BlackBerry Venice get the operating system Android, along with proprietary solutions BlackBerry Experience Suit and will be released in mid-November of this year,
BlackBerry OS 10.3.3 will be released in the first quarter of 2016 and this update will get all the models of BlackBerry smartphones 10
SDK OS 10.3.3 developers will be 3-4 weeks before the public release of OS
Until the end of 2015 BlackBerry circulate another firmware OS 10.3.2
This all information is known at the moment, it is possible that the timing can still be moved, but not so much. Unfortunately, it is not known what will be new in OS 10.3.3, and whether there is built-in virtual machine Android or modified system based on QNX Hypervisor.

Write to us in the comments what you think of the news you take the slider on Android? "

I really hope there is a 10.3 coming out because i got my first android today and i am not liking it... Its too cluttered on on the UI.

I dont want to sound like a fan boy, but bb10 really made things simple.

    Why did you switch?
Don't expect big changes in 3.3... I fail to see what android does which BlackBerry does not...

A lot of that would depend on the carrier. For instance, if you use Verizon, then the best you can obtain is a Z30, and many want better hardware. For a lot of others, the Passport format isn't appealing, so again, if you want anything technologically advanced, BlackBerry isn't going to be a choice.

There's the app gap too. Some want apps BlackBerry cannot offer, even with all the tricks at our disposal. Some need them, if their phone is BYOD.

I was getting raped by Bell so i switched carrier for a much much much much cheaper rate. I didnt want the Leap. It's too bad that there wasn't enough options. I wanted something better than the Leap since it wouldnt have been enough of an upgrade from a z10.

Its my personal phone so i barely use it and i still have my Blackberry Classic for work which i use most.

In my humble opinion, don't know what is the whole android hype about. My wife has a GS5 and before that a GS3 and a Galaxy Fit but she always turn to me for help on the most basic things, I know it takes time to get use to with a new OS but she still struggle to get things done after being on android for last 4 years. As an example she got an email with a document as an attachment she wanted to print it using the cannon printer at home, she struggle to find a way to make it work, then she sent the email forward to my Z30, opened the hub, hub attachment, selected the docs to go document, share, cannon print app (APK from play store), print. And she got it done. Simple as that.
The thing is all the APPS I need or use work great on my android runtime, with latest update the ones that used to struggle like the Jetblue APP and Expedia APP now works as fast or faster than on her GS5. GPS dependent APS work with some features not available but do the work and browser is so good that mobile sites are as good as Apps.

What I'm afraid is if BlackBerry goes full Android and some one gets to hack a BlackBerry Android Secure device. BlackBerry will be trashed by all the haters and that will really be the end of the only thing that is indisputable from BlackBerry, BlackBerry security and that can really put an end to the company.

Probably not. The issue is that BB10 is not popular so developers don't see sufficient demand to write and support an app that won't sell enough copies. Or the BIG companies/banks just don't think it is worth it for such a small market.

Drop down menu have location on/off (if not make changes in : settings/quick settings), and data on/off is 3 clicks: slide dropdown menu / press on text "Mobile Network" and you can switch data on/off . If i understood you correctly .
