Sure it does if that's where all your media is stored. Why go through backing up all your media when it's already on an sd card. It's way faster.

I play no games but I have several gigs of pics and songs on my sd. You either uncheck backing up your media or take the sd card out if you want to go faster. It's pretty simple math...how many gig do you wanna back up? the more you have, the longer it takes.

Nope... the media card isn't included in the backup process, so there's nothing to restore.
Only the device media and settings are included.

Spade, security wipe takes 20 minutes! Be patient. Security wipe seems to clean up any junk left behind. My free ram is now higher than loading/restore without doing it. Verizon 2354/1881 radio...

I'm sorry to say. But yes Phil is correct. Sd card has nothing to do with backups and restores on link. Makes no diff

This is true. If not.more time. And yes. It will seem to cycle on and off a few times. And when complete. Just shuts off until u push the power button. The only time wipe isn't finishing prop is when it show connect to puter icon. In that case it's soft bricked. But still no big deal. It really is affectively done wiping. Just couldn't restart os. So in that case just reload os with autoloader for whatever os u choose

Yes, Phil is correct about the actual back-up but the sync part that BB Link does at the same time includes all the media if it is checked off. Whatever you pefer, I take mine out and I find it faster. Do what you like.

Yeah watch out for the security wipe to go into a loop like Wigley said. It's done though after the first loop. Just autoload again and you are done!

My apologies. I didn't say it right in the first place. It is more in the sync portion of the operation than the size of the back up file. Anyway, just something to try for yourself if you choose.

I wish you didn't have to keep telling people this. Not to be mean, but we have gone over it a hundred times, although it is good that you reply without getting annoyed, I know I would be.
