Device monitor makes it seen like a ghost is stealing my battery power, no logical explanation there, system and display uses the most battery. But even that's not much, I'll wipe n reload sometime soon

I noticed battery life with .1925 is less than before. When I check the device manager, it also shows Display, System and standby being the highest 3. I've seen my display go as high as 17% (my display is at default %50 for both Brightness and White Balance).. System usually sits at %5.2 and Standby usually sits at %3.0 to %3.8

I installed the Leak.. wiped my Phone and just set up email like always and just download my apps. This is now going onto a week. I didnt restore from a previous backup as all my info is cloud synced/backed up. This has always been the case for me, even with older OSs.

Just today, I loaded the camera bar with face focus and my battery life for Z10STL100-2/10.2.1.1925 became normal again. It's worth trying.

    Posted via CB10
    How can you do that?
Where can I find the 1259 camera bar and how to load?
    How about the MMS bar?

I've installed the leak on my STL 100-2 device, but battery is terrible. I installed the leak in the first place because of the reported battery improvements. What camera bar are you guys talking about? Can you link me to a download?

8-7 hours is normal battery life for the z10. I've gotten 12+ with moderate use on. 1925. Screen usually takes up the most resources.

Let's put it this way: If battery on 10.2.1.1925 is terrible, it is waaay more terrible on 10.1 or 10.2.0.

Guys I'm just assuming the camera bar thing, it can be purely coincidence. But at the same time, I also reloaded the OS and do a security wipe.

From 6 hours of no using the phone (100% to around 15%) before reloading the leaked. I can say is that I'm back to my normal official 10.2 battery life.

What kind if battery life do you get now? Also, what's your usage patterns? Just wanna know how heavy of a user you are. Today the battery lasted slightly better than yesterday for me. I plugged out the phone at 11AM, currently 25% at 2.15AM. Very light usage : Whatsapp, some Twitter, browsing CB, 2 hours of Music. That's about 15 hours battery life on mild usage.

Heavy user here using an STL 100-1. Battery life has been really poor too for me on this leak. Roughly 5 - 6 hours between charges and the biggest culprit according to the Device Monitor is the display although I have turned the brightness down.
However this is Day 3 using the leak so I'm hoping the issue gets fixed if I wait for a few days.

But only 6 hours totally without using the phone is insane.

Judging from the experiences of people here and even on my own device, 10.2.1.1925 seems to work really well for low to moderate usage. I manage to get 16 hours with low usage. I don't think the Z10 can get more than 8 hours for heavy usage. If anyone experiences better than 8 hours with heavy use, please report

Same here. First day was very bad, with PIM services running almost full time in the background, presumably to index all messages. It got better each day for the last few days. It's now very good--like 50% remaining after 12 hours of moderate usage.

I'm already on my third day with the leak. I don't really see much of an improvement yet. I even changed my sync settings for email, twitter and Facebook hoping for a battery boost. If I plug out at 100%, after taking a bath it's already 96% doing nothing. How do you guys know if the OS has 'settled'?

Display seems to be the main culprit with me as well, so I keep it in standby mode a lot, soon as I'm finished doing whatever(messaging etc) I put it in bedside mode.

Does constantly putting it in Beside Mode help with reducing the Display battery drain?

Bedside mode should increase battery drain since it keeps the screen ON.
