Is it worth the installation time to upgrade from 10.2.1.1925 ? Are there any major differences?
That's a good question. I think most of the changes were under the hood. It certainly wasn't like going from 10.1 to 10.2. I'm trying to determine if upgrading the radio as part of it is the reason for call problems I've been having on AT&T'S network. I may end up downgrading to 1925 to see.

I say it is not worth it if your BlackBerry is running great with 1925. No new features and if you don't have any bugs there is no reason to worry about bug fixes

Okay, so what did I miss? I DLed the file in the OP. The thread states it's "10.2.1.2141"

I installed, and my phone says I have 10.2.1.2102

    Is everything okay, or no?

Yes. If you check Settings > About > OS, you'll see a Software Release of 10.2.1.2102 and an OS Version of 10.2.1.2141.

Ahh, so I am just blind. Haha. Thank you. :-)

One final question. I did a full backup beforehand. Is it normal for the backup to not be able to include installed Android apps? I had to reinstall all of those.

Will using Sachesi in the future prevent me from having to do that?

    1. starting from 10.2.1.2947 your android apps will also be restored using BB Link
    2. yes, updating via Sachesi is always non-destructive, so you will keep all your apps and data....anyway, always make backups before flashing new OS, sometimes things get screwed up (also with Sachesi) und you won't love you did not do a backup before

So, just to check, the link to the Q10 autoloader in the Sprint thread will work on all flavors of SQN-100 regardless of carrier, right?

So I applied the update to 2674, but I can't connect to Link. It tells me I have to finish Setup. I have, so don't know what else to do. Also, Voice-mail says my number is invalid. I called from my land line and was able to access my voice-mail no prob. Not sure what to do now except go back to 2141. Any ideas?

you are sure you installed the correct radio file for your device?

Yes, the one included in the autoloader which was sequentially one up from the OS version ( I've forgotten the numbers ). So I re-installed 2141, then the OTA 2156. I can access Link now, but I'm still getting an invalid mailbox error with voice mail, so perhaps that was already occurring but I was unaware. The workaround is to use my own number, but it's curious why I can't set it up.

Edit: Finally had to do a factory reset to get things working. Even after reverting back to 2156 via 2141, I could no longer make any calls and all incoming calls went directly to voicemail. BTW, the reset kept the OS at 2156. I was expecting 10.1.

I am trying to down load the autoloader for my Q10 and at about 10% the down load is stopped has anyone else had this problem
Yes! I've tried it at least 5 times and it never completes. I've gotten up to around 600 mb of the 1 gig that's it.

btw just bought a Z10 , was after one for a long time. came with 10.2.1.1925 preloaded and showed a update for 2141 for 297 mb. so that is what the link is for.

just a question for more experienced fellow addicts, is it better to fully install a new version OS using autoloader or OTA does it just as efficiently? i have a presumption that OTA would just mess things up
dont have any data on the phone yet, and this is first update out of the box.

and by using autoloader i can still use OTA when an update comes sometime ahead in time, right?

Just do the OTA update. It will be fine, the Autoloader approach is for times when there is no OTA update available.

Sorry to quote myself but.... it's running! :-D Progress bar showed up right away on the phone, saying "Software Update in Progress" and Sachesi is running through the various files. Thank you for all your help! (Now I can go to bed with a sigh of relief, while it finishes haha)

Out of curiosity where did you get the information for #1? I am very hopeful about it because not being able to backup Android apps is a pain.
