I am doing this for the first time. I have the two .bar files I need installing. I am coming from .1925 do I need to install the other 25 .bar files?
You're better off just DL'ing the full Autoloader file for your device keep it simple

Remove the battery for about 60-90 mins then replace. You may have to do it a couple times but that should reset the battery meter. Running the battery to zero can damage a lithium ion battery. I don't recommend that.
ok, i did that 2 times - restored the battery counter to 100% when fully charged. i shall keep an eye on this in the coming days. thks!

You can download just the two debrick files but then you'll have to install the 26 other changes bar files. It's easiest to just do all 154 then you don't have to worry about whether you got them all or not.

The autoloader method is fine but it wipes your data and you have to restore.

Did the 150+ bar files, everything said it was loaded correctly.. I can't seem to get picture password to work, has anyone else had this problem? Fb still loads only when it wants but everything else seems to be faster. Have not noticed any visual differences or am I missing something?

What do you mean by "can't get it to work"? Are you not able to turn it on or what?

If you can't turn it on because it is grayed out, it might be because you have your device hooked up to an ActiveSync server that has a policy that requires a real password.

I turn it to on...it goes dim...a few seconds go by and nothing..stays on the device security page and moves the thing back to off...kinds like when I try to reply to a fb message from the hub. would @outlook emails be hooked up to ActiveSync? It worked before no problem.

If by outlook emails you mean Outlook.com, then yes you are using ActiveSync. However that is a public service and they don't have a policy that requires a device password, so that's not your issue.

I suggest resetting your device by pressing and holding the up and down volume keys at the same time until the device reboots. That may resolve your issue if something is stuck.

If you are looking for the update for the STL100-2, then it is in the "Z10 Full Autoloader" on the first post.

The STL100-1 is broken out separate from all the other STL100-# models because it has slight different models.

This may sound like a silly question but... have you set a text password for your device yet? If not, set a text password first, and then enable Picture Password. (After 5 unsuccessful attempts to unlock your phone with Picture Password, it will ask you for your text password instead. )

I need some help. I am trying to download the file for the Q10 in the first post. The link takes me to mega.co.nz and allows me to download the file. The only problem is that once it shows complete the file does not appear on my computer, anywhere. I have tried this several times and in different browsers but there is not file after completion. I was able to download the full z10 autoloader a few weeks ago with no problem.

What web browser are you using? If it is Internet Explorer then it defaults to the Downloads folder in your user profile. In it is another program, you need to Bing where it defaults downloads to.

I'm new to updating phones so please excuse my ignorance but why not just go to the blackberry website and download the 10.2.1 update there? It is available to download right from their website. Just wondering??

I used Chrome, Firefox and IE. All three showed the start and end of a download yet there is nothing in any folder including the download folder which is where all my files go. I even tried to search the hard drive for the .rar file and came up with nothing. I used two different computers for this and still nothing.

It's only available to download directly if your wireless service provider has released it. If not, you need to find another way. That's what these threads are for.

If all three web browsers are having issues in your system, then I would say the issue is with your system.

Sorry I can't offer any assistance beyond this point.

Same here. I have downloaded on this computer before. It's just not transferring to the computer once it's downloaded.

Try Bitcasa, it doesn't have the browser dependence that Mega has.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am trying to update via sashi. I downloaded the files, but I am not exactly sure about what the next step is. Below are the instructions I am following. How do I drag the OS Folder into the box? Sashi froze as soon as it downloaded the files, so I had to run it again.

    6. Once connected click the "Install" tab. (if your device requires a password enter it here.)
    7. Drag the entire OS folder labeled 10.2.1.2041 and drop it into the box. The update will start immediately when you drop it so be ready.
