There is no difference with the leaks. The only difference is the method of loading. This OS is available in an autoloader too. No difference. This method is just easier.
I dunno. I don't like running leaks on my main device. If it were from Rogers then I'd think about it but since it's from outside of Canada I don't really know what difference that'll make.

They're all the same. BlackBerry doesn't write OS versions just for specific carriers. Trust me on this. I've been doing it for nearly 10 years. They all work and it only depends on the device model. 1925 was a "leak" but then later most all the carriers released it.

Besides Sachesi being non-destructive, what are the other differences between using it and an autoloader? If this leak performs well on my Z10 I might load it onto my Z30, preferably using Sachesi cuz I hate having to download all my apps again.

There are no other differences. It's the same OS. Only the method of loading is different.

I just wonder if all the same files get overwritten when using Sachesi as they do when using an autoloader. I remember reading that sometimes, for whatever reason, the OS version. Doesn't update when looking at the entries under Settings > About > OS. That makes me wonder if it really works identically or not.

Agreed! This version is even a higher build then most carriers will probably release. I loaded this a week ago and couldn't be happier that I don't have to wait on AT&T to release it.

i wish they could edit the first post with these there. I hate how Mega works. Waited 1.5hours for it to reach 100% and it just hangs there. Has happened in the past too.

My wife just got a Q10 and I quickly put 2141 on it. The only issue she's having is the Hub is not hiding sent messages. Anyone else having this issue? I am not having this problem on my Z10. Both phones are Verizon.

Note, I tried restarting the hub (via 5 swipes) but the sent emails are still there.

If you enter the Hub and open Settings > Display and Actions, is Show Sent Messages on or off?

The Sachesi method works the way the BB10 devices were meant to be updated in the normal course of events. Using autoloaders is when the OS versions sometimes don't show up. However, the OS is the same OS whether it's loaded with Sachesi or with an autoloader. Same files are being written to the device. In the case of Sachesi the new files are being written over the old leaving all other data in tact. With an autoloader the new files are loaded and all else is wiped during the process. Using each method the OS ends up being the same.

Just to clarify, this version is not a "leak", because it is available through BlackBerry's servers. This is a full RTM version.

Makes no difference. I am in Toronto (on Rogers) and the OS works just fine. Jump in; there is nothing to worry about.

Ok so everytime I download this software and try to extract it this is what I get in my winzip window after a failed extraction:

! C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXXXXX\My Documents\Downloads\STL100-234-10.2.1.2141x2142(1).rar: Checksum error in STL100-234-10.2.1.2141x2142.exe. The file is corrupt
    ! C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXXXXX\My Documents\Downloads\STL100-234-10.2.1.2141x2142(1).rar: Unexpected end of archive

This is not my first rodeo, but this is the first time i have seen this come up on any software leak or otherwise, EVER

Why bother with Mega or any other 3rd party file hosting:

If you're using Firefox you should use the Mega add-on as There's currently a bug that causes Firefox to use excessive system resources until you close it down. Using the add-on prevents this and will help with freezing downloads.

"Unexpected end of archive" means there are RAR parts missing (which is why the checksum fails). Try downloading again or, better yet, from a different source.

Or just save yourself all the aggravation and do the Sachesi install. The autoloaders are great (I like them as much as the next guy) when that's all there is. However, when the OS is available directly from BlackBerry I don't get why everyone is stuck on doing the autoloader method. Link with step by step instructions in my post three posts up.

I have 2141 installed on my VZW Q10 and Z30. I can turn off Sent emails in the Hub. I have three email accounts, Corp ActiveSync, Gmail & Outlook.com accounts showing in my Hub on my Z30. On my Q10, I have even more accounts.

What about the Voicemail differences, like being able to save the password on Verizon
