Great, what phones have you installed it on John?

    akawarrior...
It works fine on the Z10. It installs and runs fine on the Q10, and the backdoor opens, but the Porsche clock is not an option. I don't have a Z30 to try it on but it's apparent this OS update didn't change anything with regards to whether or not it works on a specific device.

Updated through sachesi on a Rogers Z10 STL-03. So far so good. One improvement i noticed so far is the android runtime. Compared to 1925, one particular app doesn't crash anymore.

Is there any advantage to using Sachesi over the autoloader?

A little timid about loading a leak, the last one I loaded had the new lock screen (pic number thing). Wouldn't unlock the phone LOL. This sounds like a pretty solid release though.

Yes. Using Sachesi there is no need for restore as it doesn't wipe the device. It just updates the OS leaving your data in tact.

It doesn't work on the Z30 either as the backdoor for the Porsche clock is written for the resolution of the Z10 only. So, while it's the same bar file the Porsche clock only runs on the Z10. Reminds me of the days when BB only put multi-colored LED's under the trackball of the 8100 but not any of the other trackball devices--if any of you remember that.

The advantage is that sachesi works like an OTA update (non destructive). With an autoloader you need to restore from backup or recreate your accounts, etc.

EDIT: I see this was already answered (and with more detailed info )

Ah, nice feature . Does it fully update the OS and Radio?

Yes it does. As long as you install all the files. You can just load the Core OS and the radio and any bars that have changed since your last update but it's easier to just load all of them. You can't go wrong with that.

Guys, in Sachesi, which country/carrier got the latest 10.2.1.2141? Using STL100-1 though. I want a non-destructive update. Thanks!

For those wanting to use Sachesi, keep in mind this takes a long time. I can do an autoloader and a restore in a hour. Do a backup before running it as you 'might' have the same problem as I did last night where it quit working and I had to cancel out Sachesi and run the autoloader.

I did my Z10 in about 30 mins. It takes me about 30 minutes just to do a backup.

Did anyone else notice that the android runtime is half the size of the one in 1925? Might just be some legacy 2.x stuff got removed, just seemed interesting.

I would say I'm about medium usage. But I do notice a difference. I would say personally with this leak I find I'm getting more battery life

That's better than I was getting with my Z10. I would typically go from 6AM to about 10:30PM by the time I hit the 10 or 20 percent remaining warning. Unless I was doing some screen intensive stuff....If I had known I could get that kind of bump in battery life, I may have stayed with my Z10 instead of getting a Z30....

Here is a link to the PORSCHE DESIGN CLOCK (sys.clock-11.20.1.41.bar)
it has to be side loaded:

    LINK HERE > : https://mega.co.nz/#!V9sjBQiJ!2HntRJ...hPsZgz9qH1nxMU

I have not tested this in 2141 yet but if you would like to give it a try. Please report
back here if it works with 2141. On the Face Rec Camera I posed earlier in this
thread I have tested it on the z10 and it works on the z10 for sure. I am just providing
the download links for the Face Rec Camera and Porsche Clock. I take no
responsibility of their use but I will assure you they are in original form
in which I received them from this site and un-altered by me.

Porsche Design Clock (document to activate):

In World Clock Mode, Add a location and type in "fostah" (without the quotes)
Then swipe down from the top to bring down the menu.

Note: Some people have had to press Cancel first, then swipe down
from the top, either will work.

BACKDOOR: Click on it, then select Controls.
See the option you want? Turn it on.
    CLOSE THE CLOCK app.
Then reopen it, go to settings like normal and... BOOM, Porsche Clock...

    akawarrior...
    Works.

Autoloader wipes everything. At least that's been my experience.

If that were the case then there would be no difference between just using the autoloader to load an OS, versus doing security wipes (some did them before AND after) loading an OS with an autoloader.

But there has been plenty of evidence that there were differences in the result in some cases when the security wipes were done. Clearly the autoloader does not remove everything, though it certainly removes almost everything.

Sometime when I have time to burn perhaps I'll test whether an autoloader preserves the encryption key or not. I can't find a document on Blackberry's knowledgebase right now that gives a detailed explanation of what does or does not preserve the key.

Hey guys I am in need of major help, yesterday I used sachesi to load the 2141 build on my AT&T Z10 and now I can't get android apps to run without android.process.acore crashing. Before anyone says anything, I never loaded a leak or runtime, was running stock AT&T 10.1 everything else is running fine for now, except this. Any help? Can the autoloader fix this? I don't care too much about wiping, all of my contacts and media and stuff is all backed up to the cloud

Have you verified that all bars were loaded correctly? Double check the Android Runtime bars to make sure they've been updated. If you by chance used the debrick bars via Sachesi to upgrade the OS, it'll miss the Android runtime along with some more core apps.
