Software usually persists with Sachesi, but try reloading the radio bar file.
    Yep.
I am having problem sideloading the 2142 radio bar (error message as before) for Z30 STA100-2. Could you please post an autoloader for only the radio? I tried building an autoloader using DBBTools, but it didn't recognize the bar or file renamed to signed.

Does anyone know if Uber is working on this OS? That would be huge!

Uber works, but it needs to be patched. Also you have to install a patched Google Play services. Go through this thread for more details How to fix any Android app dependent on Google Maps API and make maps working

No, that above link is an autoloader and as such is 'destructive'.

For a 'non-destructive upgrade (side loading of BAR files) just use Sachesi:-

I used the STL100-1 autoloader, everything were OK, but my Z10 never restart, the red led started flashing many times. I had to recover the 1295 using the autoloader. Any idea?

You bricked your device, possibly by trying to install an incompatible firmware.

Double check that you have the right OS and radio files. Do we know of anyone else who has successfully used the same STL100-1 download?

After installing the autoloader file and restoring the data , I amnt able to find the apks that I had previously installed .

Is there anyway to get them back or are they lost forever ?

Also if they are lost forever , where do I find their cache and data files so that I can delete them and free up some space.

Does WHAT not work with Windows 8.1?

There are several ways to do this update, which are you using? What device do you have?

Have you ever updated a BB10 OS before using that PC?

    Info, info, info necessary.

Bla1ze posted some autoloaders here, some are the same, some are different. The OS itself is the same. He just combined some of the files and made autoloaders.

If you use an autoloader you will kill all your sideloaded Android apps. The data should, in theory, be restorable. See below.

I cannot say for sure without doing some poking around (and different apps put things in different places), but if you did a full BlackBerry Link backup before the update, and then do a full BlackBerry Link restore afterwards, and re-install those APKs - the apps should inherit the data that was on the device previously. At that point you can use the regular uninstall procedure. (Device Manager/Storage/[APP]/Delete)

In the future: back up your APKs. And not on internal storage. Either on the SDcard, or better yet, externally.

Thanks for the info. I had tried DBBTool with the bar, no go. Thurask's instructions gave me the clue: I have to extract the signed file from the bar. Now, success!

Success also in the sense that my Software Release and Radio Version have been changed to 2102 and 2142, respectively. I had the same problem as bfunkera (#386).

Seems the android integration is getting deeper. I installed the signed xbmc apk that was uploaded to the forums last week only to find that in the new leak - it is now possible to open what I'm listening to or watching in that application.

The quickest way to get all the app bars is to download the debrick OS file and extract the files from it using Sachesi.

Easier and quicker to just use the already constructed files. Downloading and installing all the BARs with Sachesi is very slow.

See my post #528 as mentioned in my last post for links.

@omnitech: I'm trying to use autoloader for 100-3. The dos screen pops up, but nothing happens after that. This is a new computer with windows 8.1. I see the dos screen said win32 or something like that, and it made me think the OS being 64 bit could be an issue

Win32 apps generally run fine on 64-bit Windows via their own Win32 subsystem and I run BB10 autoloaders on my own x64 systems with no problem.

Do you have Blackberry Link installed on that machine? If so, it needs to be closed when running an autoloader.

When you plug the cable in before running the autoloader, does the system detect the device?
