A full proper day of usage has left me wanting more of my battery. It survived 12 hours with my usage ( it used to last for 15 hours before) which is good .. but had hoped for more! Perhaps over the coming days, it will settle down...

Hi all. Running the latest 1925 leak and love it.... running both bbs and Apk apps no issues. Have about 300 + apps installed.

Missing the option to create folders in the root screen. Is there any apps to get this done? Favs? Doesn't cut it off for me. Since Favs for utilities? Favs for. Games... etctera....

    Any suggestions? Thanks....

Downloaded this about a week ago without problems. Link restored all apps and data perfectly. Battery, signal, Bluetooth, FB, etc. all are excellent. The only problem as mentioned in a previous post is that the volume is not equal to other OS's but is acceptable. Is there any way to eliminate the annoying notification that I need to update my PC account, as there is not one. Annoying !! Thanks Lengend ............

Thank you for the suggestions. What is the official release and where can I download it from? I am sick of leaks and wipes. Hope the official leak works. Otherwise I will bin the device.

You can use BlackBerry Link to reload the stock carrier release. I don't have the instructions handy, you should find them within Link. When done properly, link will ask you if you want to reload the OS and then fetch the proper OS for your carrier from the BlackBerry servers. I don't know what happens if your carrier does not support the Z30. If you do run into this problem, try doing it without a SIM card in the phone.

Before reloading the stock OS, you might want to check your Office365 settings and perhaps open a support ticket with Microsoft. My wife's Q10 was having the same problem with PIM services on 1055. It would happen occasionally and a reboot would fix it. It doesn't do it anymore, but in addition to now having 10.2.1.1925, her office just upgraded their Microsoft Exchange email server at about the same time as the 10.2.1.1925 leak was installed. We no longer see any PIM services problems.

There just may be a bug in 10.2.1 and certain versions of Microsoft Exchange and or the EAS protocol. If you open a support ticket or check with your IT guy, they may be able to look into the logs of the mail server and see what the problem is.

The later versions of the OS work better than the old with Exchange but good luck with the downgrade.

Jrohland /.i think it is your security settings on your router at work that is set on emitting a variable IP address. You need to change the security settings to a static IP address. That should fix it.cheers

Got a weird bug sometimes with an reboot or when my battery dies... The Hub doesn't load... And when I mean it doesn't load it doesn't load as the CORE! Meaning I cannot flick left... And it just rubber bands like how it happens in iOS7 :| I manually click onto the BlackBerry Hub icon and it starts loading as an App with a Cascade window but the catch is! It doesn't load that way too, So I'm left with looking at the blackberry 10 splash screen :|

Its happened to me 2-3 times and a battery pull fixes it but its still annoying... Anyone else have this bug?

You can get the latest OS version direct from Blackberry's website. Just make sure Link isn't running.

I did a security wipe before loading 1259, then three days later loaded 1925 without any security wipe, and with a full restore from 1259. I haven't yet figured out whether it's better to do a wipe before an autoload, but think that if you're going to do a wipe, it should be before rather than after the autoload. With 1055 people ran into trouble with APN settings when they (including me) did a wipe after the OS load.

And, btw, even after the full restore this time, I now have the dark theme in Contacts, something I didn't have before after a restore. Go figure.
Wipe after OS download as it picks up any additional file pieces that auto loader may now have gotten. Works great for me that way.

Thank you for your advice I will open a ticket with Microsoft today. Hopefully they can resolve this problem otherwise I will wipe and restore to official OS. Here are the last 48 hours:

In later posts, I think in this thread, I said that if you're going to wipe after an autoload, that's fine, it may indeed pick up the additional file pieces from the previous OS that the autoloader didn't get, but that after doing the wipe you should probably re-autoload the OS to which you are upgrading. This was because in 1055, at least, a wipe after the autoload seemed to cause some problems that could only be solved with another load of 1055.

Since the autoload itself is the quickest part of the whole process, compared to wiping and restoring and reconfiguring Settings, etc., why not spend the extra 5 minutes (at most) doing a repeat autoload /after/ the security wipe?

And by the way, what does all this say about loading an official release non-destructively? If you do a wipe after a non-destructive load to get rid of left over stuff, then, of course, you might as well have done a backup, autoload, and restore.

I'm not aware that the Blackberry engineers have ever recommended doing a wipe after an OTA upgrade. Is it just because that would be too time consuming and risky for people who aren't into this sort of thing and who wouldn't want to risk losing data? In other words, is it just a consumer oriented policy and accepting the fact that some unwanted files may be left on the phone?

Does anyone else find the runtime a little bit slower than .1259? I found opening Android apps was almost instant with .1259 but with .1925, the 2-3 second delay is back. Has anyone sideloaded the runtime from .1259?

I did not load 1259 but it seems that it runs the same speed as 1055. A little disappointed as I'm not seeing many new features opposed to 1055 which ran absolutely perfect for me. I'm curious if the 1259 runtime would work better as well.

Depends on the app. For the most part 1925 has been the best.

300 apps. I highly doubt that with 16 gigs.

I have about 130 and over 10 gigs. All large apps have been deleted to preserve space.

I don't care for the native version or the android version of fb. The android version takes time to load, and the native doesn't have the option to sort news feed by most recent. What I ended up doing was navigating to the mobile page in the browser and creating a shortcut to the home screen. Loads pretty quick on wifi and has the option to sort news feed. I still keep the native fb app for sharing purposes, but I don't ever open it.
