Yes, it's considerably better. Also, BBM 10.3 was released today and if you stay on 1055 BBM 10.3 will crash and become useless. Everyone needs to get off of any version of 10.2.1 prior to 1925 before upgrading BBM to 10.3.

If you're downloading BBM 10.3 on OS 10.2.1.1055 then BBM will NOT be OK. It will crash every time you try to open it. You need to be on this build, 10.2.1.1925 or higher or 10.2.0.x or lower.

Exactly why I'm looking at 1925! No bbm until I do, save for side loading an older bbm.

Those are the only options. You'll need to sideload an older version or update to the OS in this thread. I knew better and updated my wife's Z10 which was still on 1055 because she never wants to give it up long enough to update, and BBM crashed. Fortunately, when I checked for an OTA update it was available today (TMobile US.) Updated and all is well.

I sideloaded an older BBM for now. Will deal with loading the newer OS this weekend.

You can do a security wipe anytime, if you have a working OS to do it from. Initiated from Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Security Wipe.

Have you tried loading using Sachesi rather than an autoloader? BTW what model phone do you have?

When the led us just blinking have you tried turning on the phone by holding the power button? If so, be sure you're using the correct autoloader.

Stupid question, but I'm a little freaked out. I was on .1055 and updated BBM. Of course it wouldn't work. But that wouldn't brick BBM permanently, right? If I update to .1925, BBM should work?

Yes. I had 1055 installed. Installed BBM 10.3 and it crashed. Then installed the OTA update and it worked.

Again, I got lucky and TMobile pushed the update so I didn't have to run the autoloader. Real lucky.

No worries! I'm on AT&T, so no OTA for me. But the leak worked like a charm and BBM is good to go. =)

Updated to 1925 and newest BB link and dont know which 1 is the problem but the sync buttons are non-existant and am not sure if I restore from backup if I'll revert back to old OS. What do i do to get my contacts back and have BB link sync of contacts working?

Not an expert, but for what it is worth....I was on 1925 VZW official upgrade on Z10. downloaded Legends 2141 OS and 2142 Radio files. Installed with Sachesi - first time using it. All OK. Then downloaded all 2141 bar files via Sachesi following directions in this thread - thanks to all who contributed to it- pulled out the 26 upgraded. Bar files from the list in the thread. Installed them via Sachesi, rebooted and all us well. Kept the Porche clock file but replaced everything else. Rebooted and everything seems to be good. (did a full backup with link, just in case, but didn't need it).

All non-destructive upgrades so kept settings for all apps, including android apps.

Had to pick and choose the nuggets of help, but all worked well.

    In summary.

    4 steps

    1. Backup stuff just in case with BBL
    2. Upgrade OS and Radio for correct model. Sachesi
    3. Upgrade changed. Bar files (26 out 154). Sachesi
    4. Reboot .

Now to enjoy my trusty Z10.
