So I just scored a Verizon Q10 a few days ago and after verifying that it was working, I proceeded to install this leak. The result was the inability to send or receive calls, no BB icon next to the wifi or cell signal icons in the upper right of the screen, and a "No BlackBerry Data" error when trying to run BBM. I downgraded back to Verizon's official 10.1 and everything is working again. Any ideas on why that didn't work? Will the 1926 radio fix it? Or is it maybe something else, like APN settings or whatever? Any help would be appreciated, as once you taste the promised land of 10.2.1, you don't want to go back to 10.1. Thanks in advance.

Had something odd happen today and I'm not sure it had anything to do with this OS but thought I would mention it to see if anyone else has experienced it. Took 3 pictures of a job I'm working on today and the pictures did not show up when I opened the pictures icon. Found them through file manager on my SD card but wouldn't open under the normal picture icon. Shut the phone down and restarted and "viola", they now show as expected. Not a huge deal but thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this. Other than that, 1925 OS and 1926 radio are outstanding!!!

Well, I'm definitely not getting the great battery life that others are reporting... I've got the screen set for 30 seconds, I've got my two gmail accounts set for Hourly refresh and my work exchange account set for push updates. all I've got running is usually just the device monitor, and look at the screen cap having just pulled my vzw z10 off the charger... i installed wednesday, and have done multiple soft and hard resets. I love all the new features, but I'm not diggin' the way the battery seems to be behaving...

The way your charging and discharging... surprised the battery hasn't kicked the bucket :/ check your battery health in engineering screen... might be insanely low :/

Look at mine... lasted from 8-9am till around 7:30 to 8pm.. 12 hours is good enough for me! Btw it dips like anything after 1pm cause I started going mad with apps

Ok, I'm getting tired of reading about how great 10.2.1 is and how it's like having the Bold 9900 back in a much faster phone, I'm going to bite the bullet and install it. I am also going to install the .1926 radio because I read some people saying it's better on the battery and other advantages, I just want some opinions if you can, I know there is 101 pages of opinions here, but would just want opinions based on this combination I don't have to sift through 101 pages to read. If you think I'm wasting your time, simply ignore me, no need to get angry over it. But if you can help me out with any bug reports, any potential downsides, or any pointers in what I should do, please let me know. :-)

Edit: Also, what is the best method (no chrome) to sideload amazon app store and snap once I get the OS up and running? Thanks. :-)

Yes, I've had this happen. It's a pain, but like you said, not a huge deal.

So I decided to go for it and test this leak with the 1926 radio and voila! Everything works (so far).

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this on here, but I've sent this feature on the BlackBerry Beta Forums. It's actually been implemented. It's called "Running Shift". It's exactly what all trackpad lovers missed from BBOS, and now we have it on 10.2.1! All you do is hold the SHIFT key and move your thumb along the text you want to highlight. So awesome it's back!

I just wanted to point out that I loaded that latest Q10 today and the radio DID NOT WORK.

    Q5/10 10.2.1.1925 with 10.2.1.1899 radio
    https://mega.co.nz/#!w5NnEBDI!evmoT2...dWQG2D40DXctFc
It installs the OS fine. I then had to do the updated autoloader with just the radio file to kick it in to life.

Q5/10 1899 Radio ONLY (reflash if you installed with 1260 radio)

The phone is now working a treat. I suppose it was a treat as well, I've given it to my CEO to use Let's see if he complains as he is very much used to 10.1.

Using this leak for a week by now. Works great ( functions and apps relevant to me) and no hiccups so far. My radio is 10.2.1.1056. I don't mind charging the phone every night, and the OS comfortably runs me for a day.

I'm a bit concerned when you say you can't run Chrome. Is that because you don't have a Windows computers available? If so, I don't think you will be able to install the leak as the loader is a Windows program. Never-the-less, I wrote these detailed instructions you can read through.
No, I'm using Windows, didn't say I "can't" run chrome, saying I don't want to run chrome. :-)

Yesterday I installed in my Q10 the 10.2.1 1925 leak, but I can't do any phone calls, it goes to the phone app, stays there semi-dark for a few seconds and gets normal again. I can send sms, IM messagin, browsing web, etc, but no phone calls.

Did I do something wrong? Am I missing something?

    Thanks

Did you run the radio autoloader to get either the 1899 or 1926 radio? You will see the installed radio version in the about screens of the Q10. If it is not one of the newer radios, go to the first page of this thread for the links to the Q10 radios.

I got the links from the first page, I'm pretty sure I got the one from the radio. I'm going to install everything again when I get home... maybe I did make a mistake or something, but I'm pretty sure I got the version with radio.

Does SMS work in non radio Leak? Because it work in mine

Yes, but keep 1259 in an archive folder for back up. This build is awesome and has no issues to speak of--usually user error if one happens. Make sure and load the .1926 radio with it. Good luck!

Before you reload, check the about screen of your phone to see which OS and which Radio is loaded. If the OS is correct, but the Radio is wrong, you can just run the Radio autoloader, which only takes a minute and is non-destructive to the data on the phone.
