I installed 2072 yesterday on my Passport. All good, with one exception: the timer doesn't work. Keyboard scrolling seems better then the previous OS, and the build seems stable. But, I really do use the timer every day. For now, I've downloaded an app for a countdown timer, but I do miss the one built as part of the system clock. Any idea how to reinstall an earlier build of the clock/timer/stopwatch on top of 2072?

    Thanks,

I went ahead and installed this leak since I was getting antsy waiting for BB to actually release 10.3.1 for the Q10. I did a complete backup/wipe of the phone to start fresh. On 10.2.1 I was having issues connecting with my PC through usb + wifi, the phone was generally sluggish and android apps weren't running very well.

Needless to say, it feels like I have a new phone. I find the OS snappy and don't mind the visual overhaul. I wish there was a dark hub but I understand that the colour scheme may take issue with some emails that are sent. I used cobalts walk through to get google services running and lucky patcher to fix up the apps that were dependent. The new runtime works much better than the last I find. Blend is a really cool feature that BB implemented and i'm enjoying on my pc so far. I really like being able to jam more apps into folder now and cut down on needless folder clutter that was present before. I haven't run across any glitches or problems with the OS on my Q10 so far and I have been using it pretty heavily........ actually I keep getting told account info is needed for apps I don't have installed anymore. I think this is more of an issue with the backup than the OS. I haven't taken the time to try adn sort it out yet though. I might dig through the phone with sachesi and see if anything is left that shouldn't be there. I really wish I hadn't done a restore of the phone form the backup. All I really needed was password keeper and my address book. Probably would have saved me from having this issue.

If you had password keeper set to sync to the cloud and had your contacts set to sync to Gmail or another email client, both should have come back after a wipe by autoloader just by signing back in and letting them populate again. Those are usually the only two things I care about as well. Though in fairness I don't remember if memory card backup/restore or cloud sync were available on 10.2.1 versions of password keeper. It's sort of a blur for me, feels like I've been on some build of 10.3 on a Z10 for forever now.

I had never heard about the sync to cloud option for password keeper, thanks! I'll look into syncing the contacts with another service.

What's the easiest way to sideload the new release for a Q10? Can I do this over the air or do I have to plug in to my computer (I do have SNAP if this helps)? Do I have to back up, or just let it rip? Where do I go and where are there step by step instructions for the back up? Will it just run, or will I need to reinstall accounts, passwords, apps, etc.? When is the AT&T release going to be available?

    It's a new option in OS 10.3.1

I am trying to download Sachesi...it's been hours and seems to still be installing, but I can't tell. How do you know when it's done installing. It currently says:

    Installing OS: 10.3.0.1418
    Installing Radio: 10.3.0.1419
    Installing 197 .bar(s)..
Error: Your device can only process one task at a time. Please wait for previous install to complete.

Have you read the how to guides?
Why are you trying to load a 10.3.0.x build from last year?

Its very confusing. Assume knowledge of autoloader and many not explicit. Also seems to imply it does a wipe and you lose all your current setup/data, etc. Would be helpful to have basic, step by step instructions for Q10.

Instructions are same for all devices.

Autoloader: destructive. Back up if you want to restore. Be aware that restoring backups may or may not mess up your clean install.

    Blitz: non-destructive.

If you're confused, then don't do anything.

You're speaking in a code that you obviously understand, but escapes me. I have no idea what Blitz is or what you are saying. As I said, I only want to do an install if it goes smoothly and leaves all my apps, contacts, set up in place.

Spend some time reading the sticky threads in the leaked OS section of the forums.

You have to know enough about the Sachesi/blitz process not only to do it, but to take the necessary precautions in case it goes wrong.

Well, I somehow download 10.3.1.1779. All I know is the icons on my home screen seem to have moved around, with some new ones added, I lost the picture that was on the screen is gone -- but overall, the device/screen seems a lot smaller because other things seem to be occupying the geographically, like some sort of navigation bar at the bottom when I'm texting...makes the remaining space for the text very small.

...and you have no idea how you did that? Your Q10 just magically updated?

Sorry, but I cannot comment further without being insulting. Best of luck anyway.

Whatever I did the first time didn't work...the install was hanging up. So I went to you tube and basically re-tried the Sochesi install, making sure I selected my device and everything to "get the latest" update (not sure if it really is the latest, and after 30-40 mins it installed, and abt another hour or so later, it installed on my device. And then my device robooted, which took a while...and now that's where I am. Trying to learn 10.3.

Nice to have Android Apps via the Amazon store, but I finally learned how to get Android Apps on 10,2 via SNAP, so I'm really not sure there's anything in 10.3 that's so great...but I'm just learning. I think there's an ability to assign command/finctions to the hard keys. So maybe I can speed call or speed text someone by holding down a key. That would be great. The touch edit function is supposed to be better, although it's taking some getting used to, but the other one wasn't good.

Crackberry has a bothersome pop up ad on the bottom which seems to get in the way.

    Haha sorry.
    Q10.
I used the OS_10_3_1_2072_Q10_5 file in the original post.
I connected the phone and ran the file. It seemed to be doing the rest.
