The only issue I've had, and I had it on 1154 as well, is at least once a day it reverts to default settings. I usually notice it at night when I put my Z10 into silent mode. I have BeBuzz set to not give any notification in silent mode, yet I'll wake up and the LED will be flashing. I open BeBuzz and I get the initial Welcome splash screen. So I swipe through those 3 screens, hit get started, then restore my settings.I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times but it still keeps doing it.
You have posted a similar msg on another thread about bebuzz. So you have problems with bebuzz, not with the working of phone on this leak. Right?

I know this is not new but maybe people need a reminder when thinking about battery life. In "Application Permissions" there are two that people should examine closely: "Run when minimized" and "Run in background".

After upgrading from previous versions I have found that a LOT of applications were granted one or both permissions when they really didn't need them. To help increase battery life you should go to "Application Permissions" and deny each of these permissions to as many applications as possible; or, put another way, only allow applications that absolutely require it to either run in background or when minimized.

If something is running either in the background or when minimized it will be using power.

This problem only showed up with the last two leaks so I believe it is something new in the OS.
I have not seen anyone post about this, so i.puy it out there.

It's not that you posted in a wrong thread. Until I read your post on the other thread, I was forced to believe that your phone completely wiped itself and went to the initial setup screen when you picked it in the morning. I'm just saying that your post was a bit misleading, for me.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already, but I'm using a Z30 running 1949 and GBAEMU, the native BlackBerry 10 GBA emulator and it does not work on 1949 I had it running perfectly on 1154 and previous 10.3.1 Versions....?

    Can someone else test this?

I just tried it and can confirm that it worked on 1154, but not 1949.

Maybe let the developer know so he can tweak it.

Took the plunge today and when from 1154 to 1954, and I'm sad to say the BlackBerry Assistant still doesn't recognize apps like CB10. This is after a full restore.

The only other major bug in that I hope is fixed from 1154 is reminder notifications actually playing audio.

So far disappointed with the upgrade considering the level of effort involved.

You may have to break down even further and do another autoload without a restore. I assure you that assistant brings up CB10 without issue.

Edit: I may have spoken too soon. I had it working on 1154, but can't seem to get it going now. Stay tuned..

Edit2: Just did a hard reboot. All is well. Launching all apps including CB10 again.

I did an autoloader and restore on my Z30 but it managed to screw up and delete some of my (what I thought were synced) Outlook.com contacts. (fortunately easy to recover...thank you Microsoft!) I was also having issues with deleted apps giving me account login notifications daily, so I decided to do a SIC wipe and load.

What was interesting was installing without a SIM card totally screwed up the system
..BBM would not work as well as having problems with BlackBerry World. I also had to load the SD card driver separately.

So I popped back in my SIM (koodo...in Canada) and did a security wipe on the phone and reloaded the OS from the autoloader. Interestingly I got a system software update notice for version 1368 (small update, 54mb about).

Was not prompted for the SD card driver, and now everything is perfect.

This leads me to believe that there are country specific issues that are causing certain problems that have been discussed in this thread, and I'm wondering if a SIM should be in the phone during setup.

I got this the 2nd time I did a partial restore of app data from a full backup. I've also had this many months ago with Blaq, and it took an update from the dev to fix it.

I found this annoying enough to wipe and start fresh...

    It's More Fun Using Q10 - OS10.3.1.1949
I came from 1154 (which itself was a clean install).

I tried going to 1949 using a full backup / restore. But.... I finally noticed two things that I could not resolve without having to start fresh again: continual requests for passwords in my hub for android apps, and not being able to share to android apps. Results obviously vary according to an individual's setup, so this may or may not happen to anyone else. It's like a mystical dartboard of bugs.

I've finally resolved that in order to have a 100% working OS, I will forever more install clean with no restore - at least for leaks, and early official builds. Even non-destructive updates with Sachesi (again, at least at the non-official OS stage) introduce little gremlins in the corners of the OS.

Admittedly, over 90% of the everyday user would probably not notice or care about these little issues, but they bother me because I'm probably a bit OCD, and I turn over almost every rock in a new update - places a lot of people probably never go.

It takes me a couple of hours to rebuild from scratch, because I have moved exclusively to cloud contacts / calendar / email, use Evernote in Remember, use Enpass for cloud password storage, and use my sd card for all media. The only thing I can't backup doing it this way are browser bookmarks and WiFi passwords because that access has not been opened up to 3rd party apps. The hundred or so apps I have installed (50 native and 50 android roughly) have to be installed again, but I don't mind that too much - it gives me a chance to clean house every couple of months.

    Not my experience at all.

I always pull my SIM and SD card and always CFP nuke /A before any updates.

I -do- make my initial "call home" via wifi and let updates, etc. work through a non-carrier link, all before replacing the cards. In this REV there was nothing unusual about how everything settled in.

I'm with others that like to freshen up their systems in the way that a clean install allows.

    STUPID STUPID OS 10.3.1!!!
Every 10.3.1 OS i tried so far has the same bug!
All my contacts are saved on my SIM card. On 10.2.1.xxx it reads the contacts perfectly with their phone numbers.
On 10.3.1.xxx contacts appear but from some contacts the phone numbers dissappear>.
Even after reboot theyre not coming back.
When i load 10.2.1.xxx on the device the lost phone numbers are back.

    How to fix this???
I hope BlackBerry fix this thing before official launch
    That's wired!
