mkv, mov, mts, mp4 works. flv and rmvb are not listed as supported and do not work. For some reason I cannot get avi, mpg to work on this or carrier released 10.1.

You could use Sacha android conversion method and get MX Player or VLC Player. That's how I play most formats on my Z19 now. Long live the developers in this forum. Lol

Been running this OS a few days. For the first two days, when I hit the phone icon and touched the contacts button, nothing showed. I thought, here is that contact bug people have talked about. But late yesterday evening, I touched it and the contacts populated.

Now I am OCD-ing the phone contacts button to make sure they don't go away.
    They haven't.

    Did you restore setting?

If yes back up your sms using sms backup app from BlackBerry world, purge sms data and restore from sms backup. that should solve the sms issues
Good idea. I went to 1725, but I'll keep that in mind for the next leak. Which I'm sure can't be too far off.

    Battery oh battery

Strangely enough I have been running on 1743 for a week almost and had a better battery life on 1725 than the newer version. Anyone know how the battery life is with the latest release 1765 I believe? Plus anyone know when the finals 10.2 is coming out? I mean it should be out as the Z30 we have received in Dubai is running on the 10.2. Or perhaps it's just better to get the Z30 and kill the whole battery issue?

Hello, I have STL100-1 and with this leak HDMI output doesn't seem to work, I can see that cable/tv is ok because the Dev C works. Any idea what could it be? anyone face the same issue? thanks.

edit: nevermind, seems to be a problem with the display resolution, its unable to handle the output of the Z10 (1920x1080) but it works with devc (640x480 output)

Has anyone else noticed bad battery? Much worse than 1047. Waiting a day more, but will either revert to 1047, or try 1761 if the forums don't sound off too badly.

    Thoughts?

It all depends how you setup your phone

I always setup my phones the way I need them to work

I take and delete most of the stuff that I don't need what the OS comes with

So by me so far 1761 seems to be the fastest and the most efficient etc.

Hope it works out for you.

Having flash player issues with. 1743 build.

When i try to watch a video in my browser and double tap on it, the flash player won't show the video in full screen. It will only show the top left portion of it.

Anyone knows if this build fixes that? Thanks!

Well, interesting u said that. 1743 was my first "clean" install, w/o restoring a backup.

Contact list populated via Gmail, and all apps re-downloaded from BBWorld. Texts restored via SMS Backup, and Contact X used to create alternate contact list backup. Took me about 4 hrs, as much of the stuff was built up from scratch.

The battery drain problem continued right through till I installed 1761 four days later. Which I did my tried and tested way, backed up w/ Link just prior, install OS, wipe, and restore backup. Took me less than 45mins, and it was all good. Inc battery drain, which wasn't even noticeable btw. Seemed like normal from the get go.

    Go figure, eh?

Using a Z10 STL100-3. Yes, I was on a plane and no wifi on board. No apps running during the flight, not even listening to music or playing any games.

Wow as we can see here so many people having problems, and on the other hand so many don't, and in most cases they setup the same way you did

I setup my phones in a very interesting way always newest leak and a mix of core apps of many leaks based on testing, it works out great

Always try to monitor the task manager and see what's jumping with a high number nonstop, thats one of the ways you can test it

And then side load the same file from another leak if a core file or an app etc
and monitor the file it's in most cases one file causing all

Now it does very sometimes what type of service you have at the time where the battery is draining, maybe the service isn't that good, what wil happen it will look for service almost nonstop

Or maybe the radio file isn't that good for your leak if the service is bad, and if so always you can try another radio file

I use the 810 radio file with wifi calling, maybe try that radio file it might help

    Keep us posted

Did you by chance check the task manager and see if and why it's happening sometimes you can see a file flying sky high nonstop for whatever reason it maybe

it's something you might wanna check, it is the easiest way to start looking in to a problem

You can try the latest one because it has bug fixes from the previous os for me 10.2.0.1743 stable enough for me and I combine with 1048 radio
