I would suggest do not upgrade. Even there are some improvement such as Blackberry World is now working, improving in typing text but I saw that some apps will not be installed on the phone, Facebook is no longer update notification, Notification volume is sometimes too small, sometimes is normal.

    I reload it now!

Possibly in the official release from AT&T lbfe rolled out to us, but I can tell you in the first two official releases for the STL100-2 this was not possible. Clicking on a saved network wouldn't even open the options screen.
No the other poster would be correct. I just deleted a wifi network from the saved list 2 min ago. I'm still running Z10STL100-3/10.0.10.672

Edit* to further comment, the saved networks are very finicky when trying to select them. Sometimes they almost require a double tap (like clicking a mouse) in order to open their option screen. I'm sure 10.1 has resolved this based on your experience.

Just updated and restored on my unlocked stl2. Seems fine. Love the type n go. All apps working including sideloaded. If u have stl2 unlocked definitely recommended. All the best!

    EDIT:
    - HDR confirmed
    - type n go confirmed
    - new keyboard confirmed
    - Native apps working
    - sideloaded apps working
    - BlackBerry Protect is back with restore option but no backup option (?)

    Who cares about Facebook??

And given that the Z10 is a productivity tool, an improved keyboard is a very good reason to upgrade.

Notifications volume - what's that? (yeppp, my phone never rings)

Having said that, there are other reasons that are more valid to discourage an upgrade - lack of payment ability for example. You gain some very useful functionality whole losing some lesser functions.
Overall though, I would encourage upgrades. Oh, and it makes me hope 10.1 becomes official soon...

Excuse my french, but who cares about FB anyway ?
May only some self exposing kids... In need for imposing there little minds.
This app is the 1st which I erased from my device's!!!
Seriously FB is not important at all... And the overall improvement of the leaked OS is significant higher than any s**t-chat app nor there pseudo network.
So if any app, specially the non native can't cope with a new release, they are not worth keeping, they are just bad news

The official 10.1 will be. As this is a leaked version, I doubt Crackberry wants to give the impression that they support such things.

I would rather wait for the official version when it's released, too many things not working properly.

A wise decision. There are some cool things but since this is a hybrid, not everything is behaving right.

9.Under network mode I now lost 4G as an option. I can only select 3G and 2G. Not sure if this is due to the build or localized settings for my country. This is something I noticed when the phone first booted following the installation. It asked for my country/region and then began a small localization process. Dont remember seeing that before. In the previous versions I always had 4G as an option. The Z10 was only just released in the previous week or so in Thailand so maybe that affected it.
That's strange because I actually gained a 4G option on my STL100-2 in the UK... and my carrier, Vodafone, doesn't even have 4G yet!

Maybe a battery pull would do. I did mine right after install before the restore.

I'll have to give that a try when I get home, though setting it up to where I had it before wouldn't be much of a chore, so I might just start from scratch once I reload the new OS.

Well, I don't know about other variants, but the Verizon phones on Z10STL100-4/10.0.9.2743 can do it. I haven't updated or installed any updates thus far.

There definitely have been changes to the Android runtime, even if it's not yet Jelly Bean... Square Register now fully detects the Square Reader and can read card numbers. USAA app mobile deposit now seems to work, too (used to crash when you tried).

Same app versions that I had previously converted and tested under pre-10.1 releases, the changes were definitely in BlackBerry 10 and the Android runtime. Now to try other apps I had previously abandoned...

Alright, time to wrap up that good for nothing white trash attitude, mate. There are people here with various interests and needs. If FB isn't one of yours so be it, but no need to act like a 13 year old about it. Disagree and move on

This might be the most promising note yet. 200 android apps side loaded isn't nearly as interesting as 2000 android apps available. Fingers crossed and waiting to hear more on new apps working.
