Download the package to your desktop, unzip, plug in phone, backup phone, start the unzipped program, wait, reboot, unplug phone, enjoy.
how did you extract the stock bar files from previous version of BB10? I'm looking at your OS10.0 apps :/

That won't reload the OS.. it just wipes your data.

Havn't had to use this but this seems like the OLD way of de-bricking your phone.

    See the Workaround section.
KB33480-BlackBerry 10 smartphone does not boot and displays a Phone with USB icon after an interrupted Security Wipe

EDIT: Note this is if BBLink does not factory restore your phone... Possibly works better than using BBLink too..

    -Open Up BBLink

    -Plug your phone in

-At the bottom of BB Link, there will be two tabs, one for your computer, one for your phone that you just plugged in

-Click on the tab that represent your computer

-Click on the Settings icon at the top-right corner of BB Link (It's an icon of a gear)

-Now go down towards the middle of the page where it says "Reload Device Software"

Download this about 2hr ago and this is working great. Love all the new features, once you wait a bit and open up everything this is sweet.

Overall a very good experience on VZW phone. It looks like some maintained access to the App Permissions screen and some did not...I just have a white screen with a continually spinning circle. The weird part is that I thought at some point, soon after initially loading the leaked OS, I had app permissions but I might be wrong. Any thoughts on how to get the permissions working?

Just curious, anything wrong with using DDPB?
Not that I'm aware of, other than some complaints about not connecting to our devices, in some threads. And it's waaaaaaay easier to use. Give it a go, and see what you think.

and if that doesn't work they have a program you can download that will install drivers and reinstall the OS (had to do it that way when I tried the other OS 10.1 update)
And where is this magical program? This was exactly why I had to replace my Z10 after the last attempt.

Maybe you better wait until your Provider brings the OS Out?
LOL seriously great stuff, reminds me of my DROID days with constant questions what is root, etc. So glad don't have to worry about permanent bricking!!

    So far, so good.

You might get banned so you should probably tone it down. If people don't understand then don't comment. I wanted to know how to install a .rar file because I've never done it but I was afraid to get attacked by You.

Oh Jesus, people are feeling threatened now. He is not attacking. How is his comment even remotely an attack? If you understand then by all means install and deal with potential problems yourself. Go on, do it. You have the necessary background apparently. Go on.

Well than you were smart to read and understand that you have no business installing this if you don't know what a RAR file is, wait for the OTA from your carrier it'll be much easier and you won't have to worry about me attacking you.....

Oh wait sorry I just did lol

What's with people still going on and trying to bash me like I care? This is the interwebs people can't handle opinions and truths don't come out to play
