I'm just basing that hypothesis off the recent developer videos made by BlackBerry

    * sigh * I know, but I have a feeling the music app is not a priority for BlackBerry right now

I haven't seen any free or paid app with this 2x speed. That would tide me over.

Anyone have a chance to see if the music app has anything different?

    Posted via CB10
I'm not sure if this is new, but when you're in a song there's a 'Play on' option and if you select that, it'll allow you to connect to whatever media player you have on your network... I have Sonos, so I can play my music directly to Sonos (without a Sonos app)! Just discovered this, but maybe it's already there before???

Wow, we got middbrew to come out of retirement in the rehab boards. o.0

I think we al made our points. And they are all avalid to some extent. Motion to agree with middbrew (help if you wanna help, ignore if you don't want to help) on this one and move on.

On the restoring issue: Thanks guys. I'll just let it do it's thing, but the annoying bit is it is STILL sitting at 0% on BB Link.

I can handle slow... Provided the progess bar is moving...
Thanks for the laugh. I really should get out here a little more.

Sorry if I'm wrong, I don't have a great memory. When you choose to attach something in a text message, does any of this look different ?

So, hows the new leaked OS doing? (attempting to ignore all the off topic posts).

    Is it worth it?

    Tim
I have a Verizon Z10, non-updated OS... I decided to go for it....and.. it worked! Everything is back in place (just had to reinstall sideloaded apps and they work fine).

Have not noticed the lag others mentioned. Keyboard is GREAT! I did get random reboots in the past, so I will keep an eye out for it.

The lag is momentary and goes away once all is settled. Mainly BBM and contacts. Within an hour, the leak was smoother than the official 10.0 updates.

Well sorry to disappoint but even the official 10.1 won't come with a updated android run time though I suspect it won't be to long after BlackBerry Jam

    Posted via CB10
You are probably right, updating the android run time isn't going to be at the top of the list. There are too many other things that need focused on before that.

I'm a long time leak loader from way back in the days of OS 5, 6, and 7. But given what I'm reading here of the pros and cons of this leak, including the lack of better Android support yet, the small number of new features, and the long restore times, I think I'll hold off until the next official AT&T update, especially if it is likely to come in the next couple of weeks.

Maybe I can be convinced otherwise :-) .

    Posted via CB10
Why would you want better Android support? I'm curious. Seems to me what we need are better BB specific apps instead of having to rely on Android apps. IMHO

The calculator no longer rotates in landscape mode. But at least, the scientific functions are just a swipe to the right, so need to tilt the calculator just to access the scientific functions.
