Yes, the autoloaders work without link. However, you will lose everything as you won't have a backup.

Remote file access has stopped working for me. BB Link recognises the phone that is associated with my email address, the files and folders have been selected to share but I get a blank screen on my Z10. It was working previously.
Had that happen too, turned out the power settings on my computer put it to sleep, check them if not reboot both and try again

Haven't had a crash in like... a couple days, which is crazy. Loving that about the leak. Loving everything else about the leak. But the MMS thing has been biting me in the *** for the past 12 hours, so I might have to roll back to official.

    hi, everyone
I dont post often, as i am normally able to find the answers im looking for.
Now, that being said, ive been looking for a reason to install this leak to no avail.
I cant for the life of me, find any post stating any improvements over the previous leak.
can someone please post a list of positive findings or improvements. I must have missed something.
    Thanks.
There is a lot of problems in this thread, but granted it's a leak on a brand new operating system.

For me coming off .116 at&t stock build-

There are keyboard and text editing improvements including a new circle for cursor movement and improved selection.

The gestures have been tightened in a way. It is more difficult to exit an app by mistake and the keyboard now goes down with a quick one finger swipe. Two is no longer necessary. The pullback actions from the bottom right on native apps is improved. There are other small touchscreen improvements.

There is a new feature which allows for remote file access to your pc via file manager. You can copy, paste, delete, stream etc between devices. It id the future. You better believe BlackBerry will expand on personal cloud storage. The link also supports access to mapped network drives which is just awesome.

What's app, skype etcetera are now integrated into the hub directly rather than through notifications.

The phone and contacts applications are no lag for me now. Same with speaker on phone calls. Previously the buttons would not respond for several seconds.

Apps now have the ability to run headless, skype for example actually runs on boot and you get a logged in notification. This should allow for apps like battery guru and skype and what's app and many others to function without active frames.

Battery and task management also seems improved. Despite headless apps and other features my life is consistent with the previous build. I personally see 6-10 hrs depending on use. After almost 3 days up on 10.1 I have run an average of 15.5 hours a day with 2 batteries. For an idea of my usage I used 4.8gb on my data plan this month, and I'm on wifi a lot. I use dlna and/or hdmi every day on top of normal email, phone plus about 1-3 hrs of web surfing and the occasional torrent. That's not my entire usage but you get the idea.

    Hope this helps.

Edit: I forgot, keyboard shortcuts were also added via the search function. Maps were apparently greatly improved as well. The voice assistance seems more accurate but I can't be certain. I'm sure there are other things I don't use that much.

The last leak I loaded was before I got switched to the official Z10 plan so I guess that would explain why I had no data. Any other Trinidad users with a z10 plan?

There are no headless apps. Just the Android player, and it has always been like that. Skype is an android port, though, it was specially "ported", that's why it connects on boot and integrates on the HUB like no other port does.

And no, a downwards swipe on the keyboard alternates characters.

Other than that, you are correct.

I'm not sure this correct. Both of these apps are Android ports which allow headless... there is still no support for headless native Cascades apps.

Thanks for the info. For the swipe I actually meant up. If you swipe up from the bottom bezel with one finger the keyboard goes away. Same motion as leaving the app but don't do it from the Center... idk maybe it's just a bug it's only happening here and there.

I think when I'm on the keyboard and try to do a swipe up it clicks the space bar often and doesn't actually swipe up. Noticing this on this leak. Anyone else?

Yeah, the swipe up still works if you go past the keyboard.. I don't like it either, was better before.

I mean, we've had a black line (which I also dislike) below the keyboard to prevent accidental swipe ups since launch and now this..
