. To survive , grin I've had to rely on wifi only. My cellular is set to off. I logged into the hotel wifi wit about 97% charge. Laid down to map for about 2 hours to wake up and find my phone off and completely drained. I've never seen this happen on my Z10. It is functioning fine now, so nor sure just what happened.

I have exactly the same problem. Hopefully by continuing to read this forum I find the solution (if there is one)!

I have been running this for a couple of days with only a couple of issues, but this morning I found a major annoyance. I went to make a phone call, so I told the phone who I wanted to call, and it couldn't find the contact, so I scrolled through the list of contacts under the phone app, and sure enough it wasn't there. So I went back to the home screen and looked under contacts and my contact is listed and I was able to dial it from there.
So has anyone else noticed that there seems to be 2 separate contact lists?

I think you are onto something! thanks. I think any contact that is "linked" to any other contact account (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) isn't showing up in the contact list in the phone app. (But are indeed under the main contact app). Hopefully Blackberry fixes this with 10.1 release!

For those having trouble with not being able to find a contact under the phone app but are able under the contact app, try this: Unlink the contact from Facebook and that should fix it. It worked for me.

Yeap - same exact issue for me with linked contacts not showing up in contact portion of the phone app.

One issue I'm noticing and would like someone else to confirm please, contacts linked to any social network or Skype won't show in the contacts tab in the phone app.

    No issues with instgram here

.1483 has been better for me than the AT&T release.. going on a week with NO REBOOTS... sadly though the Boot Time stopped working (No Information Available) so I don't have proof.

    And yes what Official release?

This is still an issue with .1627, too. I was thinking of going back to .1483, but after seeing this, I'll just wait for the next update.

Just loaded up .1483 and restored all my apps and contacts, although the latter was a bit of a pain. All the native apps seem to work fine. Loaded up Skype and it's connecting properly. Side-loaded previously working apps (RedBox, Pandora, Orbitz) and they're still fine. Everything's golden so far. We'll see if the random reboots go away.

    Z10STL100-4/10.1.0.1483 on Verizon

I too was fed up with all the reboots (I didn't even install the latest OS from Verizon when I bought this BlackBerry), but after I finally did enough waiting and research I installed this leaked OS.

Still had reboots (albeit less than before) so I decided to permanently delete all the Verizon-installed applications.

Lo and behold, I haven't had any reboots for three to four days which is an immense difference.

My opinion (don't quote or crucify me on this) would be memory leaks? Because my free memory would start at 1.2GB to start my day and then stabilise around 800-700MB.

I hope this post helped at all because other posters in threads saved my relationship with me and BlackBerry many times.

.... Or is it BlackBerry and I? Grammar Nazis please proofread haha

Anyway, good day and/or night to you all.

Did anyone noticed that in 10.1 when you end a call, if you were doing anything else in the phone while on speaker, you will not be brought back to the phone app that was minimized at the end of the call. That was a major issue of the 10.0 imo
