If you have to ask, I don't recommend it, but it's not something that's installed.

It's like cap.exe, but with powers beyond the grasp of mere mortals.
Does this mean that tools like sachesi, dbbt and autoloaders will have more features in future releases?

I'm pretty puzzled on how CFP can influence the stability of the OS? I mean shouldn't be those bugs just within the coding of the OS itself and not the utility used to updating the device??

It's actually pretty simple. If the OS isn't loaded properly you will eventually have problems and being that there are different models...different issues. I myself have a STL100-3 on ATT and I had random reboots after restoring on 1055. I wiped my phone, reloaded 1055 and set it up from scratch. The only thing I restored was my contacts with ContactX and that's it. (My dark theme is working too). Even after all I did I am still having random reboots.

I'm going to try this out just for the he.ll of it. Besides...what's there to lose? Worst case scenario I'm just reloading my OS. Best case scenario, my random reboots go away.

True. As long as the word "leak"is in the title, junkies will always keep coming for a fix.

Well the first thing I noticed after install and set up of this version on my Z10 is a software release, 10.2.1.176. Next I will try a restore w/o a secure wipe and if the bugs I encounter on my Z30 even after following all of the steps as posted by Mecca_cl's post to the letter.

Why doesn't someone try it before you jump all over this poor guy, after people report back and say there is no difference then pounce on him, if your having problems try this if it works great and if it doesn't you will still have the same problems you had in the first place if there is no difference in the OS.

Oops, you are correct. I just checked my Z30 and it shows the shows the 10.2.1.176 as well. That is strange though since it did not show a software release when I first loaded it on my Z30, how ever I did a reinstall on Monday to follow Mecca's steps.

I was having a few issues with the first install of 10.2.1.1055 with which I also performed a restore from backup. The second install was a no restore, but still gave me the FB, and Music app bugs.

Some bugs are within the OS itself, not related to the restore. These you won't be able to fix no matter what method you use to install the OS

I agree, this is a better version of the OS, Yahoo loaded with contacts, mail, and calendar without a bug. Everything else is running super smooth!

There is a slight chance that the cfp does load things better than the previous did. Perhaps the backup/scrub/replace method I imagine this utility does to overwrite the device storage may have a better algorithm. Why have link, bridge, and other software been magically updated in the last week or so since we noted the problems, and many have been fixed? Maybe they found a way for this to load the leaks better on 10. but for now I'm just watching.

Exactly, think of this way. This guy is willing to upload the autoloader for all of us. And yet, for ppl who haven't tried it and complained.
Get a life man. Do something better than complaining. It is much better if you post something useful for the community
