STL100-1 has not been tested but you can try the Dev OS radio with this if you want.

the method described here comprises of two installations.
one of .341 via Updating the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Device Software - Download for Windows - BlackBerry Developer
    and one of .483.

Kris said that it might be better if you did only the .341 OS installation but beware to download the OS for 100-1.
There is a radio button to press.

No more "square circle" - various colored spheres pulsating -
Autoload of first part went fast and security wipe took only a few minutes.

On to loading up 483 - more later

I think that the colored spheres are the dev os boot screen and the square will probably come back for the official os.

OOOH I just remembered, if you rely on BBM Channels, and you install it, you won't be able to REPLY to BBM actionable notifications. You'll get the notification but can't reply. So don't install BBM Channels if you don't have too (hence why I haven't been posting much if anyone has wondering why my channel is silent)

So, finally complete the installation, with security wipe and without restore. The build is full OS and looks good, despite that annoying BB pin watermark. Android player already uses 4.2.2 runtime, app run smoother that 2.3.3 but still not as smooth as Android (not that I ever expect that). Sideloading Android games which weren't work in build .341 now work. Emoji also works, tested inside Instagram apps.

Another good thing I notice as heavy BBM user is that if someone post picture in BBM group, it will appear in chat and hub, which previously was merged in status update inside BBM apps.

Well I think today is a good day to drop this. Now before you install this, you need to read and follow the instructions exactly, in order to receive BlackBerry services like BBM and Protect. Anyone who followed my debugging phase will be aware of this

So have fun and let's have a good AGM day

You can REPLY to channel input but just not via the Actionable notification (you have to go into the Channel). #NotFatal

Developers will still have to update their apps to use hardware acceleration when the api becomes fully available, which should speed things up a bit more
