    You can't... it's a carrier pushed app.
I have a bar file for it from some 10.2 build, let me upload it.

    Download link.

Okay, my findings: 4% battery drop during my 7 hour beauty sleep never could make it under 10%.

Sometimes I have 1-2 seconds lag between swiping up and screen turning on.

And the strangest thing happened. One of my friends moved to Australia, sent me a video of some BlackBerry advertisement. The browser loaded it blazing fast, then got frozen, I could not exit from it, and after 30 seconds the phone restarted itself.

It's only 3 seconds long, but played perfectly for me several times.

Can I ask you for how long? BlackBerry still prefer "mass" reconciliation. That means, that most of the task that you do on your phone is not synced up instantly, like reading an e-mail. I find it useful because when I want to mark it unread after all, why should it send out twice... I think it's doing it every 15 minutes but you can force it, by using refresh from settings. Is that what you experienced?

Posted via CB10 from my awesome Z10
Edit: It is now working, but not instantly. It does work by refreshing it though. All is good!

Simple Password means you can now set a simple 4 digit numeric password for your phone, where previously it had to be alphanumeric.

'Much, much snappier' is a BS phrase used by fools. It means nothing.

Development Mode requires a password, nothing you can do about that. However in the Device Password settings screen you can increase the time before the device locks, and also enable apps to extend this time further. This will stop the device locking whilst you're loading apps.
I have 2354/1881, no Simple Password option, and have been using a 4 digit password for a long time. But I get a full keyboard with the numbers on top rather than just a numeric keyboard. That's the only difference.

He probably didn't do anything different. During installation or afterwards, if you get a carrier pushed update, even if it's just a single application, the 'software release' info comes back.

If my phone was any more snappier, it would be in a Barber shop quartet!

You can set up only numerical passwords with easier input. Snappy means fast, fluid and lag free the whole UI. (that's true in 97% of the time, but best and fastest so far)

I understand the meaning of "snappy" but I don't understand how can it be any more "snappier" than 2354. It feels like an Iphone now... actually the browser seems to be much faster than on iPhone 4. What has been improved? What's "snappier" and "snappier" to what? The original software was very laggy.... but update 2354 seems to were perfectly for me so far.

Can someone explain to me why a security wipe is necessary? I thought installing these leaks the way we do already wipes the device clear. I haven't done this on any of the four leak upgrades I have done so far and nothing seems to go wrong. Am I just lucky or what?
I don't think its necessary in most cases. Some people do it just to make themselves feels good since it "really" wipe their phone.
