For the first time since installing leaks, the autoloader isn't working on my Z10 (100-3). It just keeps resetting the phone over and over again.

Well, it's not the first time. It happened once before, but restarting the autoloader fixed it. This time I've restarted the computer and the autoloader several times but the result is still just a phone reset loop.

There were no problems downloading the file, but maybe it was corrupted? I don't know what else to think.

Hey HofstraJet, what carrier is your company using and what leak is running on the other Z10 you have that works fine? I just backed up my Verizon Z10 and was about to run this leak, but based on your feedback now I'm not so sure. I'm on the 1756 leak right now and things seem fine, email and security-wise. We're still on BES10 at work because the 10.1 upgrade fails each time (BB knows about it but has yet to find a fix). Just trying to gather more info before I gamble on installing this leak....
My device is my personal device and is on TMO US. Running this leak (2009) on one Z10 and my everyday Z10, which works fine, is on 10.0.10.85 (not a leak - stock OS). From what I have heard, other 10.1 leaks have the same issues on our BES 10.

I was copying and pasting it into Chrome.
It is working now after launching Crackberry directly from Chrome and clicking on the link

If you read prior to that, it's meant for the Q10 statement which is all highlighted
Oh I see... I thought it's for both because the word Q10 is above the paragraph. lol
    .2009 works great, Thanks!

I did. Thanks for the suggestion though. I re-downloading, to see if that makes any difference. I doubt it, but I can't think of anything else to try.

I had no trouble doing the backup with Link, so it doesn't look like a basic USB connectivity issue.

When carriers push updates they push Software version numbers not OS numbers. 10.1.0.273 is the same as 10.1.0.1720 OS so therefore 10.1.0.2009 OS is higher than 10.1.0.273 Software
What he said is true. But even then, when has 273 been greater than 2009? Lol

Thanks for the info and quick reply! This will be my 3rd 10.1 leak I've run and my first 2 were fine on our BES10, so I think I'm going to jump in and give this a shot. We only have 4 Z10s on our BES10 right now, maybe the # of devices on BES10 has some affect on the 10.1 device stability.

hi there... i've been reading your threads and posts about all the leaks you have available for the z10 (i don't have one myself, undecided between getting it now or wait until aristo)...anyway, since this leak is meant for verizon, it would be great if someone with a z10 rebooting often can install this leak and report if the reboot situation improves or even is gone altogether...

Perhaps. We only have a handful of Z10s as well. While we have thousands of BBs on older OS's, I don't know how they are divided up across different BESs that we have and how many are on the BES that is running the Z10s.

Yes it will, hence why it's recommended to do a back up first.

If we're assuming 10 point X point X, and each of those Xs is a portion of the number before it... 3.273 would be close to 4.0 than 3.2019

Not sure if that's how it goes with version numbers or not.

Ok, tell me how to download the leak pleaseeee.!!!!! So that I can do it...b today is my off day from work and I'm home.....

Don't know if someone already answered you but Click the link that Kris posted.
It will direct you to MEGAload website, you have to download the file from there...it's a huge file about 1GB so it will take time.
Once file is dowloaded on your PC, extract it to a location you note down.
Make sure you do a full backup of your BlackBerry data using BlackBerry Link
    Close blackberry link
double click on the extracted file and wait for a command window to open
it will automatically install the new OS version (If you have a password lock on you device you will be prompted to enter it in the window before the installation starts)

    Hope this helps

10.1.0.273 is less than 10.1.0.2009 no matter how you look at it. Two Hundred and Seventy Three is always smaller than Two Thousand and Nine. That's what Frank meant

Anybody on a corporate email server? I am seeing massive email delays and device is locking every 5 seconds with 10.1. Worked fine on prior builds and my other Z10 is receiving emails timely from the same corporate email server.
Check settings -> balance -> what's the timeout set to?
Check settings -> Security and Privacy -> Device Password -> What is the lock device after set to?

Both your corporate email and personal email use different times. They also don't sync with one another, so if you are monkeying around in your personal email or applications your corporate locking time could timeout locking your corporate email..

Sorry offT but did you just equate literal value (regardless of placement of digits) as a higher version? For the sake of argument, you're saying 10.1.0.2009 is > 10.1.0.273(0)? [or whatever is greater than 2009]

I installed this leak, but my BB Link backup from the .1880 leak failed to restore (Link says that it cannot restore the backup because the databases "do not exist on this device". I was forced to return to a backup from a carrier-approved 10.0 in order to restore my data to the device. Be a bit careful if you're using Link to backup/restore data between links.

It's possible that the fact the previous leak was for STL-2/3 and this one is for STL-4 (and I have an STL-3 device) could be contributing to the issue.

I'm going to try to get better diags later, once the phone is useful again.
I am running the same as you are , but what I did is restored the 3 sections separately, Setting, Applications and then Media and didn't have that issue. Hope this works for you

Quick question..what is best way for the "cleanest" install possible.

I'm currently running one of the older leaks and ever since I've been using the leaks (10.1), my phone would occasionally completely freeze when I send a picture using Whatsapp in the Hub, it's become unbearable.

I would like to do a clean (super clean) install. I've heard people suggest soft bricking the device before loading up an OS. Any help would be appreciated.

You can wipe your device if you want to but loading the leak using autoloader would've done the same for you. Start clean (no backup).

Working well on STL100-4 with BES 10.1. No issues so far. Quicker and smoother than the last leak.
