If we were to leak, 1949 could be it? Has it happened in the past, where a simulator was a device release?

Right, but why not go for everything else? Basically I'm asking what the limitations of a simulator are

Simulator is just that, it runs on a PC in a virtual machine, it's not device software

Limitations are fairly extensive. Simulators are pretty useless besides exploring some of the new features of this OS.

The new emulator (basically demo software of sorts if you want it in lamen terms), isn't there to demo all of the aesthetics, it's to demo core functionality and unfortunately, black hub and theming never seems to make that cut

I'm fairly certain it was legitimate. But features get removed, delayed, etc. Or it might just have been removed for the simulator - I'd wait for the final OS to launch before drawing any conclusions.

Waaa, hope it get leaked, if it does, then normally within 2 days after it pops in the BlackBerry 10 Device Simulators page, if it doesnt, just like the some of the 10.2.1 versions, then it never gets leaked...

The point changes in 10.3.1.1949 and 10.3.1.1154 are 800 points which seems like a HUGE flip forward but keeping in mind BB is still developing 2 different 10.3.1 directions simultaneously, very excited to see what is new and what is fixed.

It's a legitimate component. Heck, even a leaked road map had the dark hub featured on a device.

Just checked that simulator, I didn't see anything different from 1154. Kinda surprising. Must be under the covers stuff that's different, granted it's a striped view of the os.

Im not familiar with the interface you post. I think its Sachesi for BB10.

If you take a peek, as I said before, in Alpha1 server, you will find 10.3.1.2006. What I do find very odd is that the logical progression of builds should be 2002, 2005, 2008... Yet 2006 is the first one to show up in that range.

Sachesi for BlackBerry 10 scans all the servers. Gonna take a look on the desktop app.
