I think every OS that was officially released did go through the production server. But not every OS sitting on the production server gets officially released.

Alex Thurber said recently that work continues on BB10. He didn't say much more than that, but it's funny that some of you didn't believe him. Should be no surprise that something shows up on the production server.

The reason why they haven't released anything in a while is because they still can't decide between Lithuanian or dark Hub.
Bahahahahahhahahahahaha!!! Nice! Best comment of the week.

I'm just picturing them, all 2 of the devs left, rubbing their chins, going "hmmmmm....."

Split vote. Neither won't let up.

Rock, meet hard place. Hard place, meet rock.

Why don't the sw version and the os version match?

    They never have.

That's why there is confusion at times. Carriers go by the SW number, and that's the number you see in the default view in "About". But the rest of us go by the OS version number.

Even if they release it the question is which devices will get it.

They always release for all devices.

The lone exception will likely be the STL100-1 model Z10. The 2, 3 and 4 should get it though.

    This sounds familiar.

Oh, that's right. I answered what was basically your same question in this thread last week.

I'm sure he meant that it will be available for all devices, not that all devices will get OTA. If you're still waiting for carrier and OTA updates on BB10 in 2017, then you might have rocks in your head.

Use an autoloader. A fresh install is basically a requirement for 10.3.3 to work properly anyway.

So? That doesn't mean BlackBerry didn't release it to those people. In fact, BlackBerry *did* release it, it's the carriers that are slow (as usual).

Let's be real. BlackBerry has been slow. Some of the carriers are catatonic.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the changes on a potential new OS? If still 10.3.3.xxx, the changes would have to be small, right?

He's being serious. He's the lead (and only) BB10 developer.

And yes, you guessed it... he's the one who has been holding us back on dark hub, Lithuanian, and Armenian translations.
