Will blackberry retain the existing gesture-based means of navigation, plus the close app gesture, peek and all that..... and simply replace the app screens with the Android version?

So in essence retain the existing BB10 gesture-based OS but the app pages change to the Android version?

Is that how it will work?

They will sell an android and a BB10 variant (theres a video showing 2 phones). A 10.3.3 should come out for the sloider.

It's one phone. You'll have your choice of installing either Android or BlackBerry 10 at startup.

Then what is the meaning of keeping contact like information safe in BB mode and open for Google, if BlackBerry allows to select multiple os during booting?

I'm still pretty doubtful on that. We'll see.

Pretty weird to allow the option to install an OS that is not being developed any longer. It's not a trivial matter to get BB10 to function on a new device with a new chipset.

    2717 for T-Mobile

2735 or higher (whichever is on production) for rest of America

Just a hunch, though. Reversion of software release is interesting.
