What ever tool he is using is not functioning properly. SR 2040 belongs to OS 10.3.2.2066. There is no valid response from any server for OS 10.3.2.2069.

So, did they just stop development of the previous branch at 798?

Unless I missed something, there's been nothing beyond it and everything since has been the +2000 build branch.

Can't wait to see what's been done to deserve such a big jump.

I haven't seen any .8xx either. Seems like they're concentrating on .2xxx. Blend enabled apps?

    MR, I guess.

Or, optimistically, the general release branch?

So, you're thinking that it's nothing special, just a numerical jump for clerical purposes?

Just to make it look good, maybe?

I think he's judging from the past where this happened? 2xxx seems to indicate a a MR/production/stable release

Well, 10.3.1 started from the low numbers and went up to 1154 for the Classic and the betas (+ some extra releases for Americans), while the general release branch started at 1700 and went up to 2267. 2480 and up is the MR and the occasional device launch.

So I'm guessing 798 will be the next beta release, while the global push will be in the 2xxx block.

    Just a guess.

Just my 2 cents: the 10.3.2.xxx is the unique PassPort OS version (with keyboard gestures). 10.3.2.2xxx that's now around is for ALL others. If you think about it, it does make sense, given the PassPort is the only one with this keyboard and a quad-core processor...

There are numerous reasons that can only be speculated about, any developer of large projects won't be surprised to see this happen.
