Most of the non destructive methods ive tried have resulted in a less than expected result.

I must try using sachesi again albert differently.

I dont see myself going to 2234 on my main phone but ill give it a try on my Z30.

[h]It's amazing how location/signal and config must play a part in this. [/h]My wife (Q10) is on 2228 and I (Z30) am on 2234, both with VZ, and have never had worse battery life. Her phone on 10.2.0 used to last 3+ days (granted she doesn't use it much) and now lasts less than 24 hours. Mine was good for 20-23 hours pretty consistently and now I'm down to 14-18 hours.

I may put us both on the official VZ releases to see if that makes a difference.
You forgot temperature, which can also have a huge affect on battery performance.

Battery life had been barely acceptable with the Z10...until the last two OS updates (I never load on OS OTA). 2141 was the worse...first with Sachesi and then tried the autoloader. It made no difference...battery life just sucked, especially when on WiFi. I loaded 2228 via Sachesi and what a difference, and from the first reboot...finally, great battery life! With 2228 I had better battery life with WiFi enabled than on 2141 with WiFi turned off. I loaded 2234 via the autoloader and and battery life was somewhere between 2141 and 2228 for the first couple of days. Now the Z10 has settled in and the battery life is at least as good with 2228. Maybe that's the difference when you autoload (settle in) vs. Sachesi (great from the start). The only difference I see is that battery temperature seems higher on 2234 than 2228. My day started about 6:45 this morning and it's now just after 4:30 pm. I've had a moderate day on my Z10 and showing 74% remaining but battery fluctuating between 79 and 81 degrees according to Battery Guru. On 2228 it seemed like I was running more in the low to mid 70s. No WiFi use today as I've got plenty of LTE signal strength. Unfortunately, my office is in a low signal area and the building has a metal roof. The Wilson signal booster helps but battery life drops off when I'm there.

Given all the above, there are a lot of variables that can determine battery life...screen brightness (approx 35%), . Location Services (off), WiFi (off), AccuWeather, Battery Guru, and Calendar up on the Home Screen, mostly texting and email today with a couple of short phone calls, and some browser usage. No social networking. All these things have an effect on battery life...it's more than just a number. In a nutshell, 2228 and 2234 have provided awesome and superior battery life on my Z10 over any other OS...so far.

    Latest OS battery life comparisons.-img_20140325_192300.png

Pretty good.. and seems better than 2141... with 2141 I could only have 8-10 hrs of normal daily usage!

I installed the 2141 leak and life was good. Then I was pushed the 2174 update from VZW and battery life was instantly cut in half. It sucks.
