Also had the incomplete setup issue

Phone booted up without initial setup screen and Link wouldn't connect if I didn't finish it. So I came across this trick to type 'oobe://' into the browser and it'll open up the initial setup screen

Reboot (sometimes have to reboot twice) after you finish and voila, that popup will be gone

Glad you got it installed. I also went the non-destructive route. So, whatever was already installed(including Snaps)- no issues.

I kept getting the "device setup incomplete" error, unplugged the device and signed out of Link. When I signed back in I connected to my Z30 no problem.
Interesting issue now.. No BlackBerry device I have will connect to my system using Link, yet my Passport will connect to Blend no problem...
I've tried completely removing any trace of BlackBerry from my system, reinstalling it, signing out/signing in, nothing seems to work!

I get the error "device setup not finished" and there's no way around it, yet I've used it on my laptop before! I'm not reinstalling the OS on my phone, just not worth it since I can't backup anything and I don't really want to use backups anymore...

    Anyone have a similar issue/fix?

    No I'm not.

Is there an issue with ddpb and this os version?

The only thing that I can add to the discussion (and it isn't much) is that I have had all sorts of trouble getting Sachesi (or Link) to stay connected reliably to my Z30 device. XSacha has been very helpful with suggestions and the last thing he told me was that it might have something to do with a USB 3.0 port being used. It just so happened that I was using a USB 3.0 port to try and do my backup/upgrade and never could get it to work. I haven't verified if the USB 3.0 was my issue but just thought I would throw that in.

Not sure why you're posting this question in this thread as it has nothing to do with installing Snap. That said, I recall seeing suggested solutions in other threads.

I made this thread and it's been relevant earlier. Also I've checked all of CrackBerry and the Internet for it, there isn't a posted solution sofar. I'm not talking to BlackBerry Support and they're trying to figure it out currently.

All you guys that are having issues with Link.
    Open BlackBerry Link.
Go to Preferences and UNCHECK "Start Link when I connect THIS PHONE"...
    Close Link.

If Link keeps starting on its own when you connect, you will have issues with the other methods you are attempting to use at the time.

I've never had that option enabled. Not sure about anyone else, but that just drives me nuts!

    Thanks for the input though!
