So... I'm not in my soberest mind, decided to play around with the BlackBerry Assistant app. I think I had an epiphany... the BlackBerry Assistant logo (in 10.3) looks like the headshot of a call centre agent / receptionist (makes sense!)

The icon is made up of a magnifying glass overtop (searching into) a speech bubble. However, if you really look closely, you can see the headshot of a personal assistant with a bluetooth earpiece. The speech bubble forms the head and neck of the personal assistant, the magnifying glass is the bluetooth earpiece, and the shadow behind the handle of the magnifying glass makes up a mouth.

    Iconography: BlackBerry "Assistant" Revelation!-screen-shot-2014-09-14-9.43.11-pm.png

Does anyone else see it or am I just crazy? I wonder if it was intentionally iconized that way...
*I apologize in advance if this has already been brought up in a prior forum discussion.

If we can find another than I agree. Others it's coincidental.

As much as BlackBerry simplified / flattened their icon sets, it looks like they did put a lot of work and thought into them.

The clock icon is set to 10:10.
The tutorials icon is designed to be the tutorial itself.
The settings icon is designed to be a blueprint map.

    Just to name a few...

The big question here is, why you have both "assistant " and "voice control" on your device? Didn't voice control disappeared when the assistant became part of the scene? . That's weird

A non-destructive install of 10.3 over 10.2.x. Voice Control was flagged as permanent in later versions of 10.2.x.

You do realize an icon is specifically designed to give you information about the application it's used for at a glance...?
    Just saying.

I know that... but they hardly put in as much effort in the 10.0 - 10.2 icon sets, they were generic. Now there's a bit more depth to them, ironic since they flattened the icons.

LMAO!!!! I see it!! but if that's the case, the receptionist HAS to be Olive Oil from Popeye (the back of the speech bubble is her ponytail)
