I bought the STL100-1 version and I want to try out the leaked OS, but it is only for STL100-2 and above.

    Is it possible?

    Thanks!

Don't get me wrong, I empathize with the STL100-1 users such as yourself but you have to understand that there just happens to be more Qualcomm based Z10 (STL100-2, STL100-3, STL100-4) phones out there than the TI ones (STL100-1). The OS has to be optimized for the different hardware. Due to the greater availability and similarity of the Qualcomm based devices, there are more users around to try to "hack" or play around with these devices to get some of these leaks out there. It is no slight to STL100-1 users. I'm sure if those individuals providing the leaks can gain access to a STL100-1 device to build a comparable leak then everyone can join in on the fun.

Hang in there as you will definitely get the official release.

this is the price you get for being a whiny baby and thinking its blackberries fault. just chill out ya troll, 10.1 official will come to your device the same time as every other Z10 gets official

What's the big deal? This is not an official update from BlackBerry. If it was, then you would have something to complain about, and I would be happy to lend my voice to your cause.

Of course not but question is why there was no leak 10.1 for STL 1-001. I understand except radio file, rest all files must have been common, so someone can easily build hybrid and release it. Even leaked os version was also hybrid build. can we expect some hybrid builder release it soon. Why users of 001 should be deprived of new releases?

because the people who build them have the 2/3/4 which has the qualcomm processor, not the 1 with the TiOmap processor, not to mention different GPU's if your so concerned to build a LEAK for your device go ahead and do it, stop complaining

will nothing happens when you load it ( will load only radio file) and you get info of incompatible Radio image black screen and white letters
and OS will not load becouse difrent HWID and Bootrom in phone don't allow this to load

when in some way someone load this and get this img of incompatible radioimage is recoverable becouse OS still untouched.
then after is need to load just radiofile compatible with you phone, and phone will power up.

I'm not too fussed about having an STL100-1, don't use 4G. BUT I do consider myself an early adopter. Got one in Dubai airport on the way back to Australia on Feb 11th, and it wasn't out here until the end of March!
