    .2267 is the OS Version.
    .1565 is the Software Version.

    .2267 has a software version of .1581
.1565 software version has OS version .2243

No. Not if you have a greater version than an official published released via the OTA software update.

Or you could downgrade your os and wait for the Ota. I don't think anyone(over many years of leaks) has ever asserted the official is one iota different from leaks. Hope springs eternal though...jt_teran, an old-hand of teamblackberry just asked this morning if the official still has passport screen flickering

I downgraded first to 10.3.0.1418 (or whatever OS you like, basically it should be lower than 10.3.1.2243, )through autoloader, when it first set up, there was a notification to upgrade to 10.3.1.2243 (SR 10.3.1.1565), it is about 512 MB, done

If you come from 10.3.1.2267, as I do, and plan to restore your data, back up with Link and change the OS version to 10.3.0.1418 through Darcy's tools, so it can be restored when you finish the OS upgrade

2067 is 2067. It doesn't matter if you've installed it by autoloader or OTA.

In fact, a downloaded auto loader 2067 is "cleaner" than an OTA overwrite. There's no improvement on 2067 (or 2043 the other official OS) because of being sent OTA.

Don't waste your time installing a lower number to be OTA'd to a higher number. If you have software issues, download 2067 and do a fresh clean install yourself. That's as good as you're gonna get.

    Edit - 2267 not 2067

I think the question is can we get OTA update if we are in 2267, right?
    Please answer yourself

You can't get an OTA update if you're already running the leak which became official. 2243 and 2267 in this case. There is no OTA update because you're already updated.

    Exactly.

I have a Passport on which I hand-loaded (non-destructive) what just became official. My phone says I have the latest software.

My kid has a Z-30 she bought off ShopCrackberry and which I updated for her to an earlier 10.3.1 version, but which she did not want to track forward (it was working fine for her as it was.) She got the OTA notification, despite being on a T-Mobile US MVNO (no official BlackBerry support of any kind) yesterday afternoon and since she was on the house WiFi network at the time it loaded for her without further intervention.

It's my understanding that unlocked devices will receive the update direct from BlackBerry, not from the carrier. I had turned my Z30 on one day a couple weeks ago (on AT&T) and a notice popped up that my device had been updated to the latest software, even though I was running .1949 at the time and was still running at that version after the update notice.

    Yep.

BlackBerry has changed their algorithm; rather than key SOLELY off the MCC/MNC of the SIM card in the phone (with a default if no card is in there), with an exception for a whitelist of IMEIs of those in the beta program (or, presumably, internal employee devices) it now also checks IMEIs against those sold unlocked directly and if so, you get the update.

I have a ShopBlackBerry Passport I use on T-Mobile USA. Installed the leak non-destruct via Sachesi last night for 2267 after getting tired of waiting for OTA. Now, just out of curiousity, I check to see if an update is available and my phone is now downloaded 606 MBs of the OTA. Thoughts?

I have a Passport bought direct from Shop.BlackBerry and I installed the leak 10.3.1.1581(2267) some time ago. This morning i received OTA update 10.3.1.1581 ---603mb. I am in the process of downloading and installing it. Too early to say what is in the update different than what I had or if it is just same except maybe correcting the flickering

If you did 2267 via the "patch" route or one of the various hybrids you did not get the apps.

When the upgrade check is done it's done against everything on the phone, and what is sent is only what's newer. This is much like how the current Sachesi works (unless you tell it otherwise), so if you only updated core + radio then when the official came you now get the rest of the app updates that changed as well.

I had loaded the entire new app set off 2267, but I got an unsolicited ~20Mb update on my Passport (bought direct via Amazon) yesterday. It said "Apps" but I don't know which ones off the top of my head.

I thought I had installed the radio and OS and the patch before. It is in the process of installing now. The size is 603mb. I posted here because others said if you have higher leak you will not receive anything. I just wanted to post that I am in the USA (Indiana) and that I was getting an update OTA.

Not true! I was on 2267 and when I checked for an update on my shopBb passport I was offered a 184MB update to SW release 1581.

I previously sideloaded the core, radio, and apps from the blitz package on the forum.

Not sure what was updated but somethings was.
