1371 definitely was the built that gave me the longest battery live. With 1443 I get about half the battery live on my z10. Also in device monitor I see the CPU usage constantly moving in the range between 2% and 6% at idle, while in 1371 the CPU usage was fairly stable at below 2% at idle with an occasional blip upward.
I hope the final release will bring back the good battery live.

Agreed, which is why I opted to keep the 1371 OS and install only the changed files from 1443. So far, so good....
Curious, so would you have kept radio file 1048 on your device since you only upgraded the App files?? I have a feeling that radio 1444 is the culprit draining the power in my case since I have an STL100-3 on AT&T !!

Instead of pulling out whatever hair you have left, why not simply downgrade to the leak that worked best for you (1047)?
Appreciate the advice, but before I start the full monty downward...I'd like to try installing the 1372 Radio and see if that solves it. I've noticed my Z having trouble getting onto network ever since I upgraded to 1443 OS. At the time I basically dismissed it as temporary, but this behaviour is persisting even today...I assume the 1372 Radio is available for post-loading ?? I sure hope so :-)

    IMPORTANT:
Post-loaded 1372 Radio files, first observations are good since quickly noticed that my 100-3 Z connects faster to AT&T's grid. ****** BAD IDEA RADIO 1372 DOES NOT ALLOW PHONE CALLS IN OR OUT ****** I HAD TO REINSTALL 1444 Radio for phone to start working again. Oh well, back to the drawing board... A new leak perhaps this week ??? or maybe revert to one of wu-wei's builds such as 1047 with 1443 Apps.

So for the record my battery finally settled in today for the first time and I have been through two batteries with the same results.

Finally found a hybrid combo that alleviated my battery drain.

    1. Downgraded to 1047
    2. Installed the 1443 overlay BARs from the Hybrid thread
    3. Installed the leaked run time.

I did not restore, and loaded my apps fresh. Candy Crush, Words With Friends, and Tweet lanes sideloaded. Plus couple other small apps.

Running this combo for 24 hours now and no sign of the issue at all, and battery has been great. Off charger at 4:20am and at 5:00pm was at 40%. Only plugged it in since I was going to be away from the house for awhile.

This one was weird because I cracked my screen the day after I installed it, then installed on my loaner, then on my insurance replacement. So I think the answer is a full 2 days.

LOL too funny, now that's what I call destructive testing !!

How's the replacement or repaired unit working now ?? I've been running 1443 for close to a week and I absolutely adore it... However, my battery drains way too fast when compared to when I ran 1047 and add to it that my device has trouble latching on to AT&T network (just seems to lose its connection and searches alot). This too it never did on 1047, so yesterday I tried 1372 Radio and what a disaster that was...thought everything was great, it was except for one small glitch I couldn't make nor receive any phone calls...Switched it back to 1444 this morning after I received it from wu-wei.

The replacement is running well. I have had some data connectivity problems as well from 1047 up. I only really see the issue during hand-off between lte and 3g. As for the battery try turning the phone off and removing the battery for a half hour or so. Honestly the connection issues have been getting better so I'm hoping that the the issue will disappear soon.

Who's your Carrier, I'm with AT&T and my Z10 never goes to 3G...I've seen it switch between LTE and 4G but never 3G... in rural areas I've seen it switch to E (Edge). curious why I never see the 3G.

AT&T. When I say 3G I'm referring to hspa+ which shows as 4G on the device

Despite saying that I would go back to 1047 due to the battery drain and heavy OS usage, I couldn't as there are obvious bugs in 1047 that have been resolved in 1443. So, I'm sticking with 1443 for the forceable future.

I installed 1443, and did not restore from back up. Instead I chose to install all from fresh. It's been a full day now and the system seems to have settled down:

    huge battery drain on 1443-img_00001379.png

Took off charger at 7:00am and now at 18:40 it's nearly at the redline. Still not in keeping with what I got from 1047, but still a vast improvement from the previous install of this version.

However, I'm now having a problem where I can not send any emails from Gmail. I've removed the email client restarted and then reinstalled, yet to no avail. I've been able to receive, but just can't send. Any suggestions / ideas on why this maybe would be appreciated.

Now I'm with ya... did you notice that you can no longer manually select an alternate network in System Settings>Network Connections>Mobile Network !! They've taken away one of the selectable option...came in handy when I travel to Canada, even AT&T TS suggested that I choose alternate carrier... No Can Do anymore.

Anyway thanks for your time Toobs623.

I'm seriously loving the battery life on the 1443 now.

Since I did the re install of the OS there has been very, VERY minimal hot spots, and the memory usage has all but flat lined.

    I'm well pleased.
