HTML is disabled by IT policy

Since I loaded 10.2.1.1055 on my Verizon Q10, this is the pop up message I get whenever I compose a new email using my Google Apps Email Account. Same goes when I reply to an Email received in HTML mode.

Any idea how I can fix this?

I assume you aren't on a BES10 network where maybe there has been a policy in place that has just now been capable of being enforced?

If you are not on a BES connection, I'd would wipe the device and re-install the leak without doing a restore.

    I'm using BIS.
I haven't heard of any Policy changes at Google apps so I doubt it.
I did NOT restore after I loaded the new leaked version. I simply started from scratch and that's when I realized the HTML issue.

I have the same issue as well! I never restore only rebuild. It is only doing it for one of my accounts, a company email that uses Gmail but is set up as an exchange account? My other standard Gmail account works as normal. I wonder if exchange is the issue?

My "Regular" Gmail account DOES work well with HTML and it's only with the Google Apps account that I have the issue with HTML.

I have the same problem since I installed the latest leak. 1 gmail account and 2 Google Apps accounts. It happens on all of them.

So far it sounds like all of you have the SAME issue. Is there anyone that has loaded the leaked version and set up email to work with Google Apps and DO have HTML enabled?
If yes please advise your settings so we can get it right.
After all Blackberry was built for the business-email cooprate users (I'm a Blackberry user since 1999 !) so it's should be our priorty :-(

IT Policies are AFAIK only from a BES server.
Is your device activated against a BES server (do you have a work partition?)
I just looked at my own BES 10.1.3 and I did not see any IT policies regarding the email formatting and this was confirmed looking at the BES10_v10.1.3_BDS_Policy_Reference_spreadsheet.xls file.

Google Accounts are AFAIK IMAP based and I don't see how the setting should come from Google.

    Scratching my head...

Nope, it's for BIS... no settings for HTML Policy can be found anywhere.

I'm using ActiveSync for all my google accounts not IMAP. No BES here. It's probably just a bug. It is a leak after all

Are you using the standard Gmail or Google Apps?
And may you kindly share your settings?

I have 1 standard Gmail account and 2 Google Apps accounts. Below is a screenshot of my settings for all 3 accounts. The only difference is the username & email address.

Same problem here. I am not on any BES. It seems to be with gmail accounts integrated using Exchange Active Sync (initially available as a setup option for GMail on the BB prior to when Google disabled this service for free accounts). I have a Q10 with the same OS and the same gmail account integrated using IMAP and HTML is working fine.
