    Major overkill.
No need for any of that. Just be patient.

It's been a little BB10 bug with autoloaders that randomly happens. A few resets and the version will show correctly.
(By resets, I mean hold down top button until red LED flashes on then off.)

Can't recall for sure, but you should see your correct OS version if you type myver then a space in any typing field on your phone.

No hard resets will not fix this unless I was just very unlucky.

Isn't a big deal if you don't mind just a silly bug.

But I had it loaded since the day it was released and did 2-3 hard resets each day with no luck.

So, what's the recommended radio version? I'm hearing the 939 or the 1005?

Depends on your carrier and where you live.

    Personally,
    My favorite is 939...

Using myver gives the OS version. Settings/Software Updates shows the Software Release version.

Unless this has changed on 10.3.1.19xx/20xx; I haven't loaded it yet.

I had an earlier 10.2.1 build where the versions wouldn't update on the Settings/About/OS screen for several days. At some point it caught up to itself.

As per my last post, I haven't loaded either of these last two leaks. Maybe they're different.

Regardless, I would still counsel most users to leave it alone if they've confirmed elsewhere that they have the correctly updated version.

    And also correct

There might be an OS bug, but it's with the hybrid, not the full version.

Anyone else getting stutter/glitchiness in scrolling? Even on the home screen flipping between app pages it stutters and chops. Not sure why, ram is fine, cpu is low, no running apps (none background either). Was same for me on the last official too so it's not just leaks...

    Half correct and incorrect.
So when I had this bug Software updates said 2072 but now that I fixed it, it displays SR.

BBVE said that I had 1949 while myver, Sachesi, Software Updates, and BlackBerry Link said I had 2072.

I'm saying if you install the full OS, you get fully correct information.

Why make a post in the find/fix thread, for an unrelated OS?

Have you gone through, just kinda flicking the pages and have then lag? I understand I'm moving them a little quickly but not beyond the realm of normal use speed. It's just a very sub-par experience and it's quite disconcerting with the specs I have, I figured those sort of things were left to the z10 and wouldn't happen on the 30.

Just wondering. Did you in fact go back to 1005? How bad were the SMS issues, in your case?

    Posted via CB10
Pretty bad I loaded in the evening, by noon the next day I had issues. It all depends on what environments you are exposed to, I have a network extender at home, and I work in a hospital that has "mobile access" repeaters for all cellular devices. Switching between extenders repeaters and the real network seems to confuse most radios.

I've been on 1005 since that post and haven't had any issues.

So am I. I've rarely swapped radios. This new one (2073) has been fine. As the last few have been. I try not to frankenstein my OSes.

Usually the OS version is always correct hybrid or not, it's the software release version that gets blanked out or just wrong when changing radios.

Never bothered me, it's just numbers to me, the autoloader will tell you the OS version, just go by that.

Sachesi will always display accurately too. For a novice, I'm sure it's disconcerting when they see it wrong, especially when you're not sure what you've really loaded.

Try around different Radios from http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...rchive-943672/

I would try 939 for a couple of days and see how your reception is and if you drop calls and stuff and if you do try 1005.

I was on 2073 early today and wasn't getting the best reception.
I was stationary in a room and had 2 bars of HSPA signal and decided to swap radios so I swapped to 939 and without moving had 5 bars of signal.

I can honestly say when I was on 939 before I went an entire week without my signal dropping below 5 bars, but I didn't go too far from my school.

    Regardless it's pretty impressive.
