If they're already on your previous hybrid, the one bar is the only change. Prove me wrong.

Ah, I've never watched the OS data monitor. Always focused on what my carrier computes, cause that's all that matters. It does monitor up and down, you can see that in data monitor. Not sure all apps show correctly though. Some android may not calculate.
Sorry, my responses are slow. Too much going on. Anyways, I never thought that my Android apps may not be synching with the data monitoring. I thought the data information would be read through the radio side of things and so it shouldn't matter what apps are sending and receiving. I do use the carriers app seeing how that's what they're going use to charge me with but I thought it was a cool feature to have as a comparison. Thanks.

OK. I stayed up late so today is going to hurt at work but I loaded up 10.3.1.2072 with the 2073 radio version release. I'm looking forward to using it. Thanks for the link, Benbraun322. I know this isn't the hybrid version but I like the way you organize the list of available versions. So easy to find (go to page one). Cheers.

    No problem.

I spent a solid 3 hours reorganizing anything BlackBerry related on my PC.

Makes it easier to keep this thread nice.

I'm keeping an eye out for that issue. I'm curious if should have used the hybrid with the 939 radio release instead.

You can just use a radio autoloader if needed, only 50mb or so.

So far I like the OS version but I've noticed that the reception bars are on the low end, even when I'm in hot spot areas. I'll keep monitoring for the next little bit.

OK. I don't know if I'm slow or figured something out but I noticed that the reception bars drop down to 2 or 3 bars but jump up to full bars when a call comes in or goes out. My assumption is that when the phones not in use it powers back the signal for battery life preservation. Can someone validate my assumption?

When I type "myver" this what my phone tells me Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.2072. I appears that you somehow loaded the older OR version. Go to page one of this thread and you'll find a list of the different OF versions that you can download. Good luck.

That is an interesting fact. So what your saying is that the LTE signal is weak and when it switches to 3g it is a stronger signal hence fuller bars but default setting is to be on 4g / LTE when sitting idle. That makes sense. Thanks.

My solution would be to re-install a version from this thread; however, this does not answer why your experiencing this issue.

No it means your provider does not have lte calling. Most of us in Canada have only 4G calling.

    Yeah sorry everyone I'm back...

So the issue about your "about" settings where it said 1949 that happened to me as well in the start.

Very strange glitch you can see I posted about it in the 2072 Findings and Fixes thread.

I decided to give the regular 2073 Radio a try and my first installation didn't go perfectly so I used the 2072 and 2073 Radio on the first post. And know the error is fixed.

You do in fact have 2072 and you can see if you go to Software Updates in your Settings it should say you have 2072 installed it's just a very odd bug and I wouldn't let it bother me because you do in fact have 2072 (I built the autoloader so it definitely does) it's just a strange glitch.

If it really bothers you that much you can use the 2072 and 2073 autoloader and then use a Radio autoloader to upgrade to the 939 Radio.

And then it should be correct .

If you want me to Upload the 939 Radio for the Z30 just ask me.

    I also have the 1005, 1011 and 996 Radios I can upload.

Personally, I am giving the 2073 Radio a try and it's working pretty well.

I was in an area that happened to have bad service the last 2 days so that wasn't the Radio's fault but over the next few days I will monitor my device closely and keep an eye out for low or dropped signal.

But 2073 seems to be fine so far.
