Not sure try going back to 1949.

It's pretty much Identical to 2072

Thanks. I was going to hold out for the official release to see what they come out with. If it's the same OS as what I have then I'll try the 1949 version. I figure if Rogers release the 2072 for the classic they must be close to releasing something for the rest of us.

You could run the .2072 Blitz and then sideload the .939 Radio.

    Or

You could modify the .2072 Blitz file prior to running it by replacing the Z10 radio in the package with the .939 one.

Thanks for the quick response! However other then using an auto loader, that would be far exceeding my tech skill level.

If you use the Blitz it's quite simple.

    1. Install newest BlackBerry Link on computer (this will update the drivers so your BB10 can be recognized by Sachesi.

    2. Install latest Sachesi on your computer. http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...taller-825409/

    3. Connect your BB10 to computer via USB. Make sure it is recognized by running Link or opening up to see contents on my computer, drivers, etc. Close link before proceeding.

    4. Run Sachesi and select install tab. Sachesi will ask for password and will look for the BB10 device. If it doesn't find device make sure password is correct and close and run Sachesi again. When the install tab shows all the APPS from your device you are ready to go.

    5. Drag n Drop Blitz zip file to Sachesi. Sachesi will unzip it and start installing the OS. http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...te-993337-new/

    6. When installation starts you will see a progress circle and the % of each APP installation.

    7. Go eat something and leave it alone please.

    8. After installation is completed your BB10 will reboot and will run BlackBerry blue logo loading page, level it until it finish. It can be stuck on 100% for a while be patient.

    9. Your BB10 will start with the new OS running. Enjoy

To use an alternative Radio just delete the Z10 one from the Blitz you have downloaded and replace it with the Radio you want to use.

No real tech knowledge needed, just identify the file to delete and paste the one you want in it's place.

Or run the unmodified Blitz and autoload the radio of your choice. http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...rchive-943672/

Hi Mr Ben. Thank you for your help, to further help me, kindly let me know why i am having issues opening my Android apps, i had them working (incl Google Play Store) on my former 10.2.1.xxxx. The apps shut down before they fully load up. Even my MEGA sync app did same.

Also, technically, is it possible to load up Core OS from Saches into replace the already Blitz core OS while the radio remain same?

Your response will do me so much good.

    Thank you.,

    Hi...I'm a new owner of Z30.
When I first got my phone, I updated the OS to 10.3.1.2072 autoloader (with 2073 radio).
After reading this thread, I want to try use the 939 radio.
Is it possible to "downgrade" the radio from 2073 to 939 with Sachesi without deleting my data?
To use 939 radio I can do this right:
    1. Open Sachesi, connect my Z30, input the password
    2. Go to Install tab, delete the radio file
    3. Drag and drop (or select the 939 radio file) to Sachesi and wait until it finish

Will the above steps delete/wipe the data on my Z30?

Also, what happen if I delete some locales (language) file on Sachesi? I only use the en_US locale.

It's possible but not so simple.

You want to install my Blitz buy you don't want to keep your existing radio, correct?

I can teach you what to do.
You would download the blitz and then delete all of the radio files and other Core OS files that aren't for your device

But it would just be easier to download all of the files via Sachesi except for the radio.

That would only work if you can find a .bar version of the 939 Radio for the Z30.

    You need a Radio autoloader.
Radio autoloaders DO NOT wipe your device.

I have one on my computer but don't have my computer right now.

Let me find you a li k to one.

This is the correct Radio autoloader for you to use to upgrade your Z30 Radio to 10.3.1.939

When you open an android app, you have a little green or blue loading bar?

    Correct?

It's just because you loaded a new OS happens all the time.
Try holding the Up and Down Volume buttons at the same time for about 30 Seconds then let your phone reboot and once it reboots just leave for about 10 minutes.
    Don't even touch it.

Then try and open one of your android apps it should work then.

    Thank you.
I already have the 939 radio autoloader, but I though autoloader ALWAYS wipe the data on the phone. So I never run the autoloader.
I will do a backup and try running the 939 radio autoloader later.

An OS autoloader will overwrite everything on your device. A radio autoloader will only overwrite/replace your current radio.

Only OS autoloaders wipe your device Radio autoloaders do not.
    Radio autoloaders are non-destructive.

Plug in your Z30 and run this Radio Autoloader:

    https://drive.bitcasa.com/send/6tMMp...RFW2dq5le7bNGg
This bricked my Z30. It is now double-blinking red and I cannot reboot it or connect it to my computer.

Edit: After about 15 minutes of trying to get my phone to reboot, it was continuing to to a "double-wink" of the red LED. The only thing that recognized the phone was Link which is now finally returning the phone to factory settings....Dang - I'm going to be up all night. SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE, IF YOU DID NOT UPDATE YOUR PHONE USING AN AUTOLOADER (LIKE SACHESI) IT WILL BRICK YOUR Z30. This was not mentioned in the post so I assumed that it was safe to use to downgrade my radio and I was wrong.
