So am I. I've rarely swapped radios. This new one (2073) has been fine. As the last few have been. I try not to frankenstein my OSes.

True and you're the second person who gave me the same advice: "if it ain't broke, leave it the F*!? alone, bro!"

However, it's nice to see if I can get the best performance out my phone. There are few folks on here who've tried different combo with great success and failure they've given me excellent tips towards my goal. Thanks.

Try around different Radios from http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...rchive-943672/

I would try 939 for a couple of days and see how your reception is and if you drop calls and stuff and if you do try 1005.

I was on 2073 early today and wasn't getting the best reception.
I was stationary in a room and had 2 bars of HSPA signal and decided to swap radios so I swapped to 939 and without moving had 5 bars of signal.

I can honestly say when I was on 939 before I went an entire week without my signal dropping below 5 bars, but I didn't go too far from my school.

    Regardless it's pretty impressive.

Thanks for the feedback. So. Far my calls, text and data seem to be fine now. I was worried about bars but I got clarification that made sense on that so I'll see how things run for the following week. Thanks for the link. That's a nice well of information.

It's really all hit or miss with where you are and what Carrier you are on. But my difference between 2073 and 939 is massive.

From 2-3 Bars most places to 5 bars EVERYWHERE I GO in my town.

I live way out in the sticks, but since installing the 939 radio (1154 and currently 1949 build) have not seen signal drop below 5 bars. This is something I've never seen before. Amazing.

Agreed for me and I guess Ursus also and many others the 939 Radio brings out the best in our Z30's really proves to me that BlackBerry has still got it.

If Blackberry has still "got it" then why has each subsequent radio been worse than .939 ??

    Who cares.
As long as 939 works flawlessly for me I'm happy.

Why do the icons on iOS 8 look like like they were drawn by 5 year olds?

Try holding down both volume keys on the side For about 25 seconds or until the screen turns off.
If the screen turns off don't touch it for a minute until it boots up.

If that doesn't work try to run the autoloader again

And if that doesn't work try the 2072 and 2073 autoloader.

OK good luck worst case you can Nuke/Wipe to the point where you have to load a new OS and then install again.

Anyone else getting stutter/glitchiness in scrolling? Even on the home screen flipping between app pages it stutters and chops. Not sure why, ram is fine, cpu is low, no running apps (none background either). Was same for me on the last official too so it's not just leaks...

    Posted via CB10
There can be a slight difference in how the app pages look when scrolled between, depending on how fast you swipe, making the action sometimes 'appear' un-smooth when in fact it's just down to how you swiped. Is it this you've been seeing or something clearly worse?

But I believe that isn't OS dependant.

If you swipe poorly on any OS it should appear unsmooth.

Full finger, drawn for at least half the screen width at a fast rate. Initially it moves correctly but when completing the turn it has stutters in the movements. Also happens when scrolling over to active frames.
