    Hello everybody,
So basically, this summer I installed my first ever leaked OS, which was the 10.2.0.1323. I was very happy with it, it lasted the whole time until I installed the official 10.2.0.1424 OS that went out last week for me in France with SFR.
I looked everywhere in the forums and internet and couldn't find an answer to my question, so here I go : How do I uninstall a leaked OS ? Does it uninstall itself on its own when I install the official version ?

Because since I installed the official OS, I am having the same bugs I had in the leaked OS ( cannot have folders otherwise bar on the bottom of the screen disappears, my lockscreen wallpaper that is not changing, etc.).

Does anyone of you awesome guys in the forums have the answer for me?

    Thank you very much,
    Luca

The upgrade to the later build official release will replace all the outdated files. It sounds like there are still some items to fix in a future release.

So this means that when I installed my official release, it deleted automatically the leak ?
Do you have any idea how I could fix those problems ? Because I don't think people that have the official os have this problem if they haven't installed a leak.

You don't uninstall it, you just install another one ,leaked or released, to overwrite it.

Thank you ! Then where do you think the issues I have come from ? The problems you usually have in a leak and not in a released version ? (cannot have folders, etc.)

A jump from .1323 to 1424 isn't that big, I wouldn't expect all bugs to be fixed. It's also a relatively old release. Why don't you try .1791?

Still a buggy release. The update over wrote your leaked version. Only way to fix any bugs is to install a higher version. So we are back to leaks.

If you want to go that route, I suggest 10.2.0.1791. If you wanna stay official, then it just what it is.

I am in the USA and the official 10.2.0.1791 isn't due to be released here until the winter (now when the carriers will release it is anybody's guess), so I used Sachesi to download the Telus release and it runs great. My carrier is AT&T. The only thing you may have to do is to delete a carrier specific app or two. Also note that using Sachesi is not a destructive process like loading a leak. You will not have to restore you data and settings and apps.

Many of the release 10.2's are what you are running. Maybe do a backup then perform a device security wipe with your new release and it may clean up your issues. You can restore after. I've been running 1791 for awhile now (long before the release) on both my Z10 and Z30 and it works perfectly for me. I'm on Bell. My phones are now unlocked too and working great on this version. Hope that helps.

Try security wipe. It wipe out any extra files/folders from previous OS. Also most of the problem is result of old restore. Wipe ur phone atleast twice, use fresh without restore and u'll find all ur problems r solved.
