Could you walk me through how you did it, please? Specifically, looking to remove mmagic, airtunes, firstlaunch & games.
I'm not at my computer but i'll see if I can remember:
    1. Download and run sachesi. Device should be connected by usb. Dev Mode not required.
    2. On the Install screen of Sachesi, click the Apps tab.
    3. Then click "refresh" (?) to get the list of apps installed on your device.
    4. Check to box to the left of the name of each file that you wish to remove.
    5. Click the garbage can icon on the lefthand side (forget if top or bottom)
    6. You should see a little spinny thing overlay the garbage can and the usb dialog on your phone. It will take about 10 minutes if you delete lots of stuff. It make take 2 tries on some - like foursquare because I think one component is dependent on the other so they can't be removed in the same operation.
If you remove too much, then extract the bar you need from the autoloader and reinstall back onto your phone. I usually just strip the languages, retaildemo, and social apps that I don't use. And not because I need to but because I can!

I tried this using Sachesi, except after the spinny thing on the trash can I hit refresh again and the files are still there.

Deinstallation of permanent flagged files via Sachesi does not work. While they may appear to have been removed from the app list, the files remain on the device.

Of course permanent files need to be de-permed first by overwriting them with same app.

Maybe I haven't tried removing truly core files then. But I have had success stripping out languages, LinkedIn and Foursquare.

I've tried this, yet their attributes don't change from "Permanent" to "Uninstall" using the DDPB/Chrome Browser method. Haven't tried copying over then deleting with Sachesi, but I don't see how it could be different. (If I'm wrong and it DOES work doing it that way, please let us know)

Probably depends on your firmware. Might be patched now. I was going to add automatic de-perming in Sachesi but someone at RIM told me they were removing this feature.

Definitely add de-perming in Sachesi! If we wait on BlackBerry, we might have to sit still until 10.4...

sys.howto IIRC. I think that one is either removable, or one of the few that will change to "Uninstall" if copied into the OS via Chrome.

    Haha genius.

Saved more than 400MB and now, I accidently removed a file that makes it impossible for me have Link or PAM recognize my Z10.

    Oops

If you value your GPS, foursquare will be your best friend. You can find any single point of interest.

You can type sushi, pizza, arena in Universal search then the extended app option foursquare and it'll show all locations by you and there is a direct link to the Blackberry Maps

I think crackberry should publish a blog post about it since I see a lot of people complaining about no POI still.

It would be superb if somebody creates a list with all core-files that are safe to remove. Probably best place for it is in OP.

Good news. Yes it can be removed. Even if it is marked as Permanent, it is removed very much exactly the same way as those that had removed "BBM" from legacy devices. It is a 2 part process or maybe even more. I will include the actual BAR fail from the .438 system dump. You will need the Playbook Extension to load the BAR file onto your device. Once the Bar File is loaded onto your device it changes status from "Permanent" to "Uninstall"
Tried it today and it wouldn't change Games to "Uninstall" with OS10.2.1.2160 on Z30. So I guess it has been patched to remove faking out a Permanent BAR.
    So, my questions are:
If do a current system backup to save settings, wipe phone and install an old Z30 OS, remove the games BAR via Chrome as described, then load 10.2.1.2160 back via Sachesi with the games BAR removed from the BAR set, will Games stay gone when I restore from the backup?
    OR
Should I wait to see if xsacha can make a de-flagging version of Sachesi or if BlackBerry will provide the option in future OS updates?

Highly doubt if BB will make removal an option. Got my hopes pinned on Sachesi....

Only way right now is starting off at <= 1055 and deleting what you do not want installed after downloading your desired > 1055 OS version through Sachesi.
