    i have Ubuntu 15.10 and it works great and fast on my laptpp... how can I upgrade my BB to the latest OS on Ubuntu... all I see is mac and windows instructions

    If you want an autoloader install, you can't.

    However, if you want a non-destructive install, try running Sachesi for Linux: https://github.com/xsacha/Sachesi/releases/tag/2.0.3

    After that, just follow the regular Sachesi instructions.

    Would WINE do it? Not sure if it's capable of that.

    Also consider maybe running a windows virtual machine?

    You cannot run executables OS from a VM environment. None of them. Tested

    Wine still has no support for USB devices so that's a no-go.

    Not even VM ware Fusion, which is the best emulator out here. It'd connect just fine but autoloader would stop as soon as you run the executable which will give you the error message

    Wine still has no support for USB devices so that's a no-go.
