Try to sideload the bar file for the Tutorials app. It should be deletable after that.

Thurask is correct, but the bar is named: sys.howto... Once you sideload the bar it will become deletable which is good as it is almost 20MB

All the useless icons like help, settings, phone app, bb aw, carrier/network app I throw all those in a folder called Tools, its on the first page of apps in case I need to use any of it, just seems like a lot of those icons are taking up some good real estate and I dont use them often

Or through them in a folder called Useless, rather than deleting you will at least get updates of the useless files, Hub, Camera, Tutorials, and others that are redundant or unnecessary

I've always had a folder for apps like this. It's called the crap drawer.

You can delete the hub shortcut and it won't affect updates. Tutorials can be added back if you needed it. You can't delete the camera icon as it is the actual app - I mean, you can delete it, but the camera will no longer work

I tried side loading the bar and it still won't detect from the phone. I'm downloading the bar from the link above now..
Question: should the bar be of a different version than the OS in order to delete it?

It can be any version. It will override whatever you have on the phone. I use Chrome with playbook extension to sideload and delete all apps I don't use that are taking up storage. However, once you sideload the bar you will be able to delete straight from the device as well.
