I am on Rogers, have tried security whip but it didn't fix the problem. I remember fixed it once by restoring settings only, not app data, not sure, I also read that I could restore one by one instead of all together...

Does anyone know a method that fix this for sure?

    Thanks!

Try it again. That's the only fix.

I ended up going back to 2009 because no matter how many Security Wipes I tried, nothing would fix the MMS "General Problems" once I got that issue. I'm on Rogers, too.

One thing to try (that I had not tried back when I had 2354 installed) is entering MMS settings manually in Hub > Settings > Text Messages > MMS > Advanced.

This is a pic Kris had posted a few days back of the settings that he'd tried.

That page doesn?t even exit for me... but thanks for the info.

I just checked mine on 2009.
Attached is a picture of what I have at
Hub > Settings > Text Messages > Advanced
which are completely different settings from what I showed above.

I think I'm in the right place, so I'm actually wondering if something changed with the settings between builds?

Are you showing the same as my pic rather than the first pic?
(If so, that throws my idea on differences between 2009 and 2354 and a possible reason for the MMS problems out the window.)

Wish I understood more about this to help.
But I actually think I've just confused myself more!

Yeah, I have the same setting as your second picture. May just have to go back to my golden 1880 leak.... before that, I am tempted to give it a try with 2354 + the radio from 1880

I started to have this problem after I installed the upgrade to the BBM 10.2 bar file last night. I did the security wipe and the attachments all came in today. I backed up first and I'm not sure if the back up had the newest BBM contained in it or not. But all is working today after the restore.

Tried it again and this time it worked. I backed up what I have right now, and then wiped and restored from this new backup.

    What's different this time were:

    1. I restored from this latest back up, instead of from a backup of older OS(1880).
    2. I restored it separately, settings firsts, media second, and app data last. Every time it would trigger a reboot (3 reboots to finish)
    3. After wiping and rebooting, before restoring, I found this time the LTE is displayed as LTE now, not 4GLTE. Last time when I was trying the security wipe procedure, it was 4GLTE and stays that way. I think this might be the key.

Anyway, now I have os2354+radio1721, with MMS working, everything runs fast, smooth, and cool, near perfect condition.

Will report back with battery stats tonight.

Battery usage from yesterday, a full day without changing. Not bad at all.
